I came across a breed if cat that has amazing abilities, this cat can hunt down animals three times larger than it is and it's just the size of a dog. Any way let's go straight to it Name: Caracal ( caracal caracal) Length: 78cm for Males 74cm for Females Weight: 12-18kg for males 8-13kg for Males Diet: Rodents, Birds ( including ostrich), Antelopes, Gazelles and Rabbits Color: Uniformly reddish or sandy Habitat: Drier Savannah and woodland regions of sub-sarahan Africa and prefer the more scrubby arid habitats Lifespan: an average of 8-10 years in the wild with 15-20 years in captivity Super Power: Jump The caracal is a medium sized cat native to Africa, the middle East, central Asia and India. The name ” CARACAL ” is derived from two Turkic word; ” Kara ” meaning black and ” Kulak ” meaning ear. The caracal is characterised by a robust build, long legs, a short face, long tufted ears and long canine teeth The cat was first discovered by a German naturalist named Johann Christian Daniel Von Schrebor in 1776 The caracal like other cats is a nocturnal animal ( I.e mostly active at night. It is highly secretive and difficult to observe. It is territorial and more of a solitary animal ( lives alone) or sometimes in groups.
