Actually, back in 1999, INEC won't register any party that did not have representation/offices in all the 36 states and Abuja....that's how we got PDP, APP(now APC) and AD (now APC).

But the late SAN, SAM Gani Fawehimni went to the Supreme court and got a ruling forcing INEC to throw out the 'have representation in all states criteria on the grounds that it was not in the constitution (Uncle Gani had been trying to get his party NCP registered and INEC had turned him down)

So, as a result, by 2003...we had 50 parties. It's gone downhill from there.
It's just so bad

Osun State: Collation Officer is Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, the VC of my alma mater, the University of Lagos.
APC = 347, 634
PDP = 337, 377
He stated the results of some polling units were cancelled because they discovered that the number of votes cast were higher than the number of accredited voters in those polling units.

Both PDP and APC already know who won the presidential election going by feedback from their agents in all the polling units.. Who can give us insider info on the assessment of the results by both parties?

let pdp keep giving them close marking in this south-west they've predicted to be landslide victory for apc, ss and se will put the nail on the coffin..
PDP is still on track

the funny thing about your mindset is that you will suffer extreme heartbreak by the time APC wins which is a given.

The figures are already in based on states and PDP has lost. This announcement is just a formality

Is it not stupidity to have over 71 political parties? they just keep wasting our time. MDP DDP KZP ..These parties are just there for inec funds and then disappear after the election.

Thanks for the information.
I was also wondering how we got here, 73 parties is just too much.

2 States so far...Ekiti & Osun

It's not all about winning a state, the numbers matters.

If he wins ekiti and osun and in anambra you see 654,111 and apc got 23,000 what can you see?

If you subtract 23,000 from the 654,111 =631,111

now use that 631,111 and replase ekiti and osun to make it balance.
This is just an example for you to know how figures matters.
forget the states, figures matters

But I think APC will win. Buhari is loved OOo, no just because of APC but because his perseverance.

PDP was ahead with about 6 million votes yesterday. This information came from a reliable source.

The bottom line with the two states declared so far is clear: PDP is over performing and APC is underperforming. Nobody expected PDP to win either Osun or Ekiti states. Let's wait until they start declaring the following states:

Benue
Plateau
Adamawa
Taraba
Kogi
Kwara
Lagos
Ogun
Edo
Delta
FCT
All the SE states
All the SS states

So right now, I like the chances of PDP. If I am Atiku, I would be feeling very confident right now grin

Why is INEC going on break to reconvene at 2:30pm when they did not even start at 11am as earlier promised?

Something is just fishy. INEC is working with APC to alter the original results to the favour of APC.

Why thanking them, if Nigeria gets well tomorrow are they not going to benefit too?
If not even "better benefit"
some of u are just annoyingly insecure and stupidly emotional.
