He is right! Southwest really messed up. You are the greatest beneficiary of this government yet you can't perform. I'm disappointed. What do they want again?? You will hear a Yoruba man shouting atikulate up and down even when you have your own man osibanjo as VP in APC....I don't understand this people

When did the north ever hve plans to cede power to the south. Obj was an act of compensation not because they wanted to. Which is why they started sharia law and the crisis that followed. Mind u shagari, gmb, ibb, abacha, abdulsalam were in power, yet d north did not call 4 sharia law until obj bcame president.

I hope you know apc is losing power in 2023 when there is no more incumbent to rig for himself.

Sounds like you have conceded 2019 already.

the best way to wrest power is to have the numbers and deliver them when it matters most. we in the south are yet to understand this game of politics

yes we are stupid, we don't know what we are doing, aregbesola and ajimobi have finished their tenures, what is wrong wth our people, must we always be blinded by our bitterness. Akeredolu a supposed SAN has messed up all because of over bloated egos. Can't we be futuristic in our thinking and calculations?

We say the SE are not Strategic, you know what they are gradually learning fast but we in the SW are loosing it fast

I partly blame Buhari for it, There was a rot in the APC which was infiltrated by 5th columnist this was displayed early in the Senate, Buhari should have provided leadership and called them to order but he waited and allowed it to grow. Many of the SW governors instead of performing and paying salaries were fighting Tinubu

That gave Oyegun power and empowered the double agents like Akeredolu who are APC by day Atiku by night

A sitting gvernor lost 2 senatorial district, It was Borrofice that he fought that was able to win his seat

And it looks like Ondo might be the only SW state lost

Ajimobi finished his tenure with a mediocre performance and wants to retire in Senate

If Oyegun had been booted out earlier and Oshiomole allowed to clear the issue say back in 2016-2017, APV would have solidified the ground

But all these SW governors think once they mention that they are fighting Tinubu their issue is resolved, they spent energy fighting imaginary Tinubu while losing the grassroot

That is why Tinubu will continue to remain strong, he never takes the grassroot for granted

oga all this one is story, north has, neva had, will neva think of ceding power to the south. Lets assume osinbanjo is elected president, with a stroke of d pen, he will relieve all political appointments by pmb and appoint his own person. Which means north will not b dominant. U think pmb, cabals and d north hve forgotten how obj with a masterstroke relieved many northern officers who had held political appointments. Power is taken not given

If you are from the SW and you agree with this statement in anyway, then you are nothing but a political slave. Juicy appointments and a railway line is the reason you should tow behind a candidate It is truly shameful that some people should feel entitled because of political appointments. How has Osibanjo or Fashola's appointment improved the standard of living generally in the region? This is an insult on the intellectual class

Only in a backward sh*hole like Nigeria does one find politicians stupid enough to openly talk of a region "betraying" them by voting for someone else, as if the voters were the ones with an obligation to the politicians, rather than the onus being on the politicians themselves to show themselves deserving of voter support!

If Buhari has failed to receive the same support from the SW as he did in 2015, then he has only himself to blame; he waited 6 months to appoint a cabinet when he should have been ready to do so on the day of his election, he then spent most of the following year receiving treatment in London for a mystery illness he's still yet to disclose, and on his return he capped this dismal record by insisting on a wrong-headed "strong Naira" policy that drove away FDI and sank the economy. Just because he gave "juicy" appointments to a few lucky politicians, and borrowed lots of Chinese money to start work on a railway line that ought to have been completed before the unviable Kaduna-Abuja portion, a few northern political hacks think all Yorubas should be ignoring the economic wreckage Buhari has wrought?

Given Buhari's atrocious record, by all rights this election should have been a walkover for the PDP, if only they'd bothered to select a new face with credibility. Luckily for Buhari and his camp, the PDP insisted on repeating its old mistakes by selecting Atiku, another septuagenarian with a well-earned reputation for misusing his offices for self-enrichment. It's almost as if the PDP bigwigs were deliberately trying to guarantee Buhari another 4 years!

He's a fool for that statement. Na him papa money then take do the project. Buhari should thank his star that most of us sat at home. Lead....He refused. If PDP has given us a better candidate, would he still have the effrontery to talk.

I honestly feel bad that some Yorubas even came here to support this man. I am Igbo and I think SW is the only region in Nigeria that votes out of conscience not religion, ethnicity or hatred and this man is talking trash yet some of the so called people he is abusing is supporting him. I think this is quite sad, you don't have to be cowards or force affilations with people that use you.

how did PMB sank the economy? am open to this debate cos I think this narrative is false. Lots of misconceptions out there, yea we were in recession but we came out of it, so how did the economy sink? Despite this false narrative by the pdp, they have struggled in places where we expected a clean sweep.

At the rate at which things are going , I wonder if we will even get to Indias level in the next 50 years.

He sank the economy by refusing to devalue the naira . For some reason buhari didn't know that the precious naira he sought to devalue was already devalued on the black market . This lead to a massive capital flight .companies shut down . Inflation was roaring.

Politics is give and take bruv, if some people have been fair to you, it's only normal you reciprocate in good returns, did the yorubas complain of marginalisation under PMB like they did under GEJ. Did the igbos not not make GEJ their hero fro giving them all the 'juicy appointments' to use their own vocabulary

We try to be too leaglistic at times. Politics is a game and fair is fair.
