Hello People,

I need an experienced person to construct cement concrete ponds for fish farming.

Each pond will be about 15ft x 10ft x 4ft.

Please be able to also set up a flow-through system.

Someone resident in Ilorin, or close to Ilorin is preferred.

We are only starting to build the fish farm.

There are established fish farms in Ilorin you can get in touch with. Someone may accept to train you.

One thing to keep in mind about fish farming is that it is capital intensive. 70-80% of the cost goes into feeding alone. So you must set aside the money before you even start. Otherwise, your fishes could die of hunger, and you lose your investment.

Normally, you should budget N400 for feeding one fish from fingerlings to adult size.

You also need plenty of water. No tap water. The chlorine would would kill the fishes. So you need river water, or borehole.
