Here is a footage showing moment a Nigerian Army Commander instructed his soldier battalion who were under an intense attack by Boko Haram Terrorist to stop hiding behind the Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) and rely on Natural cover.

Natural cover is not limited to trees or big rocks or mountains. Taking advantage of the rough terrain by lying down while observing is also a natural cover because in that situation of absence of perfect natural covers, the best option is to reduce the chances of being hit by the bullet.

The mortar might be their target and once they aim at it, it might get to them. The best thing to do is to lie down flat on the rough terrain.

Boko haram should wipe them out.

Small bullet proof vest is what is been given to them. What happened to giving them a full one? Kudos to the soldiers anyway!

May God continue to protect NA.. Not a movie but real life shooting.. The commander is somehow right. If they all assembled in one place, targeted RPG on the Mortar would cost so many damages.

Everyone is not a fighter (soldier)

A good number of soldiers with much more better knowledge have been shot dead.

Lastly, this is more of common sense than knowledge.

The commander is right. The APC is a target for possible fire from RPG .

Which one is small or big one? Bullet proof vest is supposed to just cover your torso where the important organs are. The helmet protect your head. So which one is small vest? Where will the big vest cover that the small vest did not cover?
