I would concur to the statement to some extent but on the other hand, the spending you are witnessing is necessary in Nigeria politics.
I am from YEWA (OGUN WEST), we have been neglected for the last 8yrs and been deprived of the Governorship seat since the creation of the state (42yrs) despite the fact that the state's 60% IGR is from the region. Now that the Governor has decided (selfishly) to pick our son and spend on him, we have to support him or loose out as the other son of ours ( GNI OF ADC) have no money nor godfather.

FOUR OGUN GUBER CONTESTANTS,PARTIES AND THEIR CATEGORIES

GNI... ADC --- Apparently the peoples choice but without money and godfather, in case of influence (rigging among others) he will be left alone.

DAPO.. APC --- He got lesser people's interest but well rich and and backed up by APC National executives and cabals.

KASHAMU.. PDP ---- He is also rich and very sure of his people's (ijebu) support.

AKINLADE.. APM --- Got people's support (mostly by the virtue of the Gov.), also supported by the Gov. and have state money to spend.

Two are from Ogun West (ADC & APM) while other two are Ogun East (APC & PDP)

4. Over 46% of Ogun State workers salaries in the form of Coop deductions, promoting arrears, leave bonus, study allowances to the tune of BILLIONS OF NAIRA.
5. Networks of roads and bridges across the 20 Local Government which are in a messy and internationally embarrassing situation. Those of us living in Ogun State especially in Ifo, Ado Odo/Ota, Yewa North, Ipokia, Obafemi Owode, Odeda, Sagamu, Ijebu Ode, Imeko-Afon LGs are not only living in pain, our lifespans are been reduced, just because Amosun wants to be the richest man in Africa whose boys are bragging to have the richest bags of money to deceive the suffering masses of Ogun State.

How many of the branded buses he bought with our stolen money will revive our lost lives to accident, manhours lost on the death tolls called roads or loss of lives in our mortuaries called hospitals without drugs, electricity, sufficient doctors and nurses, beddings and so on?

Can we imagine Amosun has sank billions of Naira on his anointed candidates from APC to APM including Abudukabiru Adekunle Akinlade as Governor, Gbeleyi as Senator for Ogun West and so on in APM. With all these embezzlement to win the 2019 elections and continue his looting from the rare stage through Triple A, are Ogun State people so foolish to vote Amosun stooges into power again to secure third term agenda for Amosun? They are even bold to say they are sustaining the mission to rebuild Ogun State as if rebuilding Ogun State is just about demolishing thousands of houses and business outfits and fail to construct roads after all.

Ogun people will collect all the money you are bringing and still vote you out. APM means ATM, it is time Amosun spends all the money he has been looting through Triple A. Please Vote wisely f

The major thing I know that I can use to disqualify Amosun are the projects he did not complete. Why start so many things you cant complete. What guarantee is it that the same person he favored would not follow his style or even worse.

What difference does that make him from Tinubu. They all shows he only wants to be the Tinubu of Ogun state. So both his party and Tinubu own cannot favour the people of Ogun State.

I'm from Ogun State. It is a State the has the highest people of great caliber, both past and present. The most industrialized state in Nigeria. The fourth richest state in Nigeria. The state with the highest number of higher institutions which make it the state with the highest number of educated and civilized people. With all this qualities and facts, it will be very bad if it is govern by uneducated person - cos I read where someone accused a candidate of ordinary secondary school certificate.

We (Ogun State) should be the second to Lagos when it comes to international standard amenities and infrastructures. The workers should not complain of unpaid salaries - I so detest that. With all I've written, we (the people of Ogun State) should all shorn the little token they have prepared to give and vote massively for the better person not the better party.

You will see that we the people are for dapo akinlade. (APC). I'm from central where Irokunle Amosun won.

You are daft or a liar if you takes you eight years to know a governor is not performing. He was up for reelection 4 years ago and won overwhelming, all of a sudden he is supporting APM and he is a bad person.

Those people bringing Tinubu to this story should rather ask themselves what is Tinubu doing differently to get such strong followership and loyalty.

Simple, bring out the best of candidates, empower other to be strong in their own domain and ensure good governance. That's all. Others just want to be godfathers with nothing to show for it.

There is miscommunication here. I'm not after GNI, dapo, kashamu or paseda being a governor, what I'm saying is akinlade is not the right person, the governor is trying to impose him on everybody. He is someone being controlled by the governor and we don't want that. Let me tell you, akinlade being a govenor doesn't mean Yewa zone would be developed. The governor dropped 5 billion Maura for the man's campaign. And he promised to give each polling g unit 1 million on the day of the election. Someone that can drop such money, do you know how much he would get if APM wins. That's not all.

I don't argue or discuss politics, but let me say this; it would be a shame if the people of Ogun state allow Amosun hoodwink them through vote-buying, the way he did, just b4 the Presidential and National assembly elections.
I keep asking people why he would stop at nothing to install Akinlade by all means?Why the desperation?Why the arrogance?Why must it be do or die?
For me, what he did during the Presidential campaign was a pointer to the fact that he could do anything for power.

I think it is the right time we part away from the PDP and APC strong hold and breathe a fresh air with the governorship of ADC Gboyega Nasir Isiaka (GNI). People of Alagbole, Akute, Ojudu, ifo, all Yewa land sango and so on can attest to how PDP and APC government as treated them especially the celestial that travels to imeko around the festive time will tell you how bad and tiring the road is , alagbole people and akute can also tell you how the abandoned them.
