Going for an audition for the first time, could be very challenging in terms of been confident and understanding the principles behind making a good audition. You need not worry because i have a few tips that could help you win that role you desire. You should also endeavor to build a good resume and take standard headshots.

1. Be punctual.
Prior to the audition day, you've always known you were going to go for the casting. So why delay or go late on the day of the audition? Most directors frown at lateness and if you happen to meet a director that doesn't tolerate that, you've automatically lost the chances of winning that role.

You should endeavor to get to the venue at least 30 minutes before commencement as this gives you the conducive environment to be relaxed, get comfortable with your fellow actors and also having the opportunity of getting an important information on time.
