Bayelsa man Under Fire, for comparing Bayelsa to Kano, One the ancient city In northern part of the country Nigeria, a Facebook user Named Gift Okoriko posted a photo of Kano with a caption.
He wrote:
This is Kano state . The state does not get 13℅ oil derivative. But look at the type of infrastructure and road network they have . Do you have this kind in your Bayelsa or south south ? Go and harass your governors and stop blaming buhari for your woes .

I've not been to both cities so I pass.

Shame on all the governors that ruled bayelsa from 2007-2019, they have failed the ijaws of bayelsa.

But the girl mumu for comparing bayelsa to kano, the military administration of babaginda and abacha spent a lot of money on kano and Kaduna and left Lagos,Ibadan and PH to rot.

The girl should compare Lagos or PH with kano.

Compare bayelsa with jigawa,kebbi or zamfara.

Bayelsa state can't boast of 3 Lane highway.... Their Governors from 1999 are just thieves and the citizens don't see them as the cause of the underdevelopment of the state

You blame Kano and the Federal government for the underdevelopment of Bayelsa? All the oil royalties and Federal allocation that Bayelsa earns, what did they do with it. The facebook user should go and hide. Their successive governors had a chance to turn Bayelsa to a mini Dubai, but instead they chose to pilfer and launder the money, stashing the stolen money in foreign accounts.

Hahaha Read what I wrote 3 lanes.. The Mbiama-tombia-ekeki-okilo is just a 2 lane road, except you want to add the packing space to the main road..... If you've been to States and Cities where they have 3-4 lanes roads you will know that what you mentioned is just a 2 lane road....

I think you are making mistakes here. A 2-lane road is one with one lane in each direction.

Mbiama through Okilo road is 4 lane; 2 ways traffic with double lane each.

Bayelsa need help but believe me compared to private investment especially in real estate, Kano can never compare.

My argument is not on infrastructual development, but private involvement in those development.

Kano is an over-pampered spoilt brat but Bayelsan development is purely Bayelsan. That is my argument.

All our governors are rogues...
