Godwin Emefiele was appointed by Goodluck Jonathan in June 2014. He is meant to serve a 5 year term.

His term will be over in June 2019 (except it is renewed by the president).

Sanusi Lamido Sanusi also served a 5 year term, from 2009-2014.

The Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria came into to office in 2014, his tenure is about to end and he has been asked to embark on terminal leave just like every other civil servant. but as usual fools whose minds have been eaten up by hate can't see things that way. If Buhari wanted to sack him, he would have done that as soon as he took office in 2015 but he let the guy continue, that one idiots will not see it.
