Temple1288:Bros cam dan , your failed attempt to revision the events of the mid term elections is pedestrian and at best, childish. For starters, DeSantis won the initial count by only about 80K and had to have a recount. @bolded, stop peddling fake news and factually incorrect stuff like Trump, no fewer than 15 candidates which Trump personally campaigned for lost the election. This includes Dean Heller of Nevada , Matt Rosedale of Montana (which Trump visited 4 fucking times), Cindy Hayed-Smith who won via a run-off and the incumbent John Lewis. I am pro-Trump but whenever you wanna bring up trumped up facts, remember that some of your audience are smart and know wosup. I holidayed in the States recently and the Trump love-in was palpable among white majorities though the hate could be felt among immigrants. Have a nice day. |

bilms:Nigerians really need to enlighten themselves a lot. I've listened to analysis on BBC and Aljazeera and it's very apparent Sanders stands a very bright chance of winning in 2020. He got millions of $ in donations under 24 hours of declaring his intention to run and supporters trooped out in millions to support him. You've got to see his ideals and manifestos |

Temple1288:Trump is popular? What is his popularity rating?...quote that and compare it with that of Obama or Bush at the same point. His well attended rallies are in select racist areas in the country. He belongs to New York.... and can't even be present in NY let alone hold a rally..... too much protest and traffic jams. Many of the people who voted for him did so because of his coded racist campaign. Racists will always support him regardless of what he does....many other supporters have been affected economically by his policies....money is everything to them...they will not vote for him. How many in his own party...whom he selected has jumped ship?...record number...and you are here talking about how popular he is. His trade war with China has affected his voters...be imposed tariffs on certain imports from China....China retaliated by imposing tariffs on products coming out of areas of his core supporters. They are now suffering. He is popular neither at home nor abroad. If you know how a US President is elected..... you should know that it is not by who get the most votes cast by the citizens..... called the popular votes.... Hillary won that. He is wayy more unpopular now than when he was elected. |

Temple1288:Wrong sir, not all he supported won! This same Bernie Sanders won senatorial election in the US state of Vermont in November and as an independent , winning over 70% of the votes cast and defeating Trump's candidate in the process |

contigiency:That is the hypocrisy about most Nigerians. They praised a man as old as Buhari but rubbishes President Buhari not to contest. I don't believe all these age bullshiit as long you are ready to serve your people and you have a sound health. If Mathahir one of the founding fathers of Malaysian politics could contest for an election at age 90 years and won because of the love and his antecedent against corruption. I wish Bernie Sander best of luck in his ambition to be the President of the USA. |

Basic123:Exactly! Rigging exist everywhere. I could remember in 2004 when Bush Jnr defeated John Kerry at the polls. It took the electoral body in USA like 3 days to declare the winner. I watched how Russian politicians and businessmen jubilated when Trump won. Politics everywhere is dirty. |

Bernie Sanders cannot win the DNC presidential primaries let alone winning the presidency. Seems you are not getting it, right? The US WILL NEVER BECOME A SOCIALIST STATE. He may keep scamming his band of thoughtless Millennials for the time being (until the Gen Z come to age). But he will never, ever smell the white house - not even in 2024 or 2028. Joe Biden will trash him in the DNC primaries. And, running as in an independent, means he's clueless and just out to scam the gullible of of their tiny allowances from mommy again. ![]() [s] bilms: |

bilms:He won’t even win the DNC primaries, Bernie has a lorn against him in the DNC, the upper echelon in the DNC dislike him, and at the time where the DNC is focusing it’s attention on women, yes women, they are trying to buy the women votes and the black people vote just like they always do, Bernie has been in legislation for over 20+yrs but can’t point to one legislation he has sponsored, if you think it’s a lie, check his interview with Charmalagne tha God. Also he has same problem with Buhari, he forgets this to the point of no recollection, he’s bringing a socialist idea that like the other DNC candidates which 18% of the population agree with, Bernie’s time was in 2016 but he was rigged out of the primaries by Hillary and Maxine Walters, the old man should just retire gently because it’s gonna be hard for any DNC candidate to defeat the GOP Donald trump judging by his achievement in two and half years despite all the smears of the media and Collusion delusion. Right wing. |

Despite the nonstop 3-year long coordinated attacks and witch hunting driven by the global Fake News/mainstream media, the US establishment and the DNC against the person of Trump, his rigged rating presently is actually higher than what Obama had at this same point in his presidency. In fact, among the conservatives Trump's approval rating is over 80%. And, according to the liberal leaning CNBC, Trump's (42% - 48%) rating across board, "is in line with that of Clinton, Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama at similar points in their presidencies. And ALL OF THOSE PRESIDENTS WERE REELECTED". Originalsly: |

Originalsly:Say what you want about trump, but 2 things I will always disagree with are 1. He's racist, how? Prior to Running for president, in the 90's and early 2000. he was loved by most of the black leaders Jessie Jackson and Al shapton Can you give me an example where he is a racist?? I mean personal examples, not his supporters yadda yadda yadda He was only labelled a racist when he became a prominent figure in the Republican Party 2. Trade war was a master stroke, for the first time china is coming on bended knee to negotiate. Trump is a ruthless business man. You have to give it to him. Have you seen the economic growth and unemployment numbers?? For you point on Hilary winning highest number of votes America is a constitution federal republic meaning each state is autonomous. so the electoral college model was adopted as the determinant for their Presidential election. Each state according to the number of population is ascribed a number of votes in the electoral college. the higher the population the higher the number of votes. Who ever wins the simple majority in each state carries the electoral votes. this was done so that every part of the country would be involved in deciding the outcome of the president. If the highest votes approach was used New York and California(because of their high population) would be deciding the outcome of the president I hope that's clear, he lost the popular vote because of the hold the democratic party has in urban areas. He won most parts of the country So your argument is invalid |

rentAcock:What does this comment even mean. Rich people are taxed very heavily in the United States but Bernie would rather tax them more in a bid to redistribute wealth. WTF. Being rich is not a crime. It is not right for someone to struggle to make their money and then have to give a huge chuck of it to entitled "poor" people. The main supporters of this man are young people who he has managed to seduce with the idea of free this and that. Sensible people know that his policies are wack. |

Atigba:American capitalism is hurting it badly.... Moving factories to China, refusal to retrain workers, outsourcing jobs overseas, replacing American workers with foreigners, Employers keeping wages low and stagnant for years are the result of the brutal capitalism practiced in that country.... And the result has been disastrous..... Wages are not rising as compared to inflation leading to a lot of people dropping from middle class to working class..... University education is very expensive thus most youths choose to skip college to avoid future bankruptcy.... Unfortunately, there are not so many good jobs available in USA now that won't require a college degree.... Public spending in infrastructure is at all time low due to tax cuts to the wealthy and a dwindling middle class.... Most 1st class US cities can't even compare to 3rd class Chinese cities due to crumbling physical infrastructure.... Building a career as a staff in Wal-Mart or McDonald's is an invitation to lifetime struggle or possible poverty..... U will forever be dependent on food banks n social welfare to get by..... American public education system is performing poorly when compared to other OECD due to poor funding.... Healthcare is good but very expensive, 30 percent of Americans are not insured n will rather go to Mexico or Brazil to meet their health needs... Despite the cost, American health indices rank poorly when compared to other OECD countries..... The system now in USA is designed in such a way that if u are wealthy, u can never become poor and if u poor, it's going to be extremely difficult to be rich..... America is producing more millionaires n billionaires than any country, yet the gap between the rich and poor is getting wider.... 90 percent of working class Americans now live pay check to pay check.... The American dream is gone...... American capitalism sucks and that's what Bernie wants to challenge.... As far as am concerned, the root cause of the myriad of problems facing America lies in its capitalist system, and that's what should be addressed.... Not building walls or imposing tarrifs.... |

Gmajor:it think those notion that the rich must have somehow cheated there way to the top is the problem like that crazy Newyork Congress woman suggested taxing the 1% at 70% That's just bat shut crazy. The rich already pay the top marginal income tax. if we are talking about really being fair They should tax everybody the same let's see how all those people feel about pay 45% income taxes. People would talk rubbish as long as it doesn't affect them like I asked the guy, what's his idea on fair share means I'm still waiting |
| Re: Bernie Sanders, US President In Waiting - Mr Rights by Gerrard59(m): 10:55am On Mar 05, 2019 |
Gmajor:EOD! The old dude is a communist hiding in a socialist cloak while benefitting from capitalism. His other paddy is Jeremy Corbyn - who will never become prime minister because of his economic policies. China will overtake The US as a major economic player, electing Bernie hastens the process. mrbock:Wahlai! Rich people will simply relocate their funds from the the US to havens or relocate entirely. It happened in France. Folks who believe that it's wrong to be rich. |
| Re: Bernie Sanders, US President In Waiting - Mr Rights by mrbock: 10:55am On Mar 05, 2019 |
SIRTee15:most of what you wrote is completely false or heavily skewed I won't even go into them in detail. Capitalism is bad, so Bernie Sanders form of socialism is the answer Venezuela, Cuba and Brazil hasn't been enough examples that socialism is a failed idea The problem with socialism is eventually you run out of people's money to spend. |
| Re: Bernie Sanders, US President In Waiting - Mr Rights by mrbock: 11:00am On Mar 05, 2019 |
Gerrard59:that's what they are missing. Very funny ideology. It's wen they use the term fair share. it pisses me off With the currently tax system being daylight robbery Some people have the audacity to shouting that they are not doing enough Even God our father in his wisdom pegged the same percentage of tithe for all, Poor Man and rich man. Now that's fair So if they want it to be 70% , it should be the same across board |
| Re: Bernie Sanders, US President In Waiting - Mr Rights by SIRTee15: 11:14am On Mar 05, 2019 |
mrbock:Maybe u can challenge just one of my point...just one.... Unregulated capitalism is killing America.... Corporate greed and selfish capitalism will eventually lead to to the downfall of that country.... China that u people love to praise as the next superpower practice strictly controlled capitalism with a mixed of socialism..... U can't move money out of that country at will..... They've refuse to open up their banking and financial sector, because they know the havoc greedy corporate guyz can wreck on a fragile but rising economy..... Chinese university education is free, thus China is able to conveniently churn out millions of vibriant educated workforce every year.... Something America can't boast of.....in fact 40 percent of students in American colleges are foreigners.... Extreme of everything is bad...both socialism and capitalism... |
| Re: Bernie Sanders, US President In Waiting - Mr Rights by mrbock: 11:37am On Mar 05, 2019 |
SIRTee15:I initiated didn't want to but you asked for it China operates a mixed economy : very limited capitalism and command economics(govt controlled means of production and distribution) China fuelled their remarkable year on year growth by unprecedented government spending with GDP growth of 6.5-8 percent year on year disadvantage Government spending created a total debt-to-GDP ratio of 260 percent. This includes debt held by the government, corporations, and consumers. Since the state owns many corporations, it must be included. The consumer debt may have also created an asset bubble . Urban housing prices have skyrocketed as low-interest rates fueled speculation. High growth levels have come at the cost of consumer safety. The public has protested pollution , food safety, and inflation . It also created a class of ultra-rich professionals who want more individual liberties. They live in urban areas, since that's where most of the jobs are. In 2017, almost 60 percent of the population lived in urban areas. In the 1980s, it was just 20 percent. Local governments are charged with providing social services but aren't allowed to tax to fund them. As a result, families are forced to save. China doesn't offer benefits to people who've moved from the farms to the cities to work. Interest rates have been low, so families don't receive much return on their savings. As a result, they don't spend much. That keeps domestic demand low and slows growth. |
| Re: Bernie Sanders, US President In Waiting - Mr Rights by SIRTee15: 12:11pm On Mar 05, 2019 |
mrbock:Every system has it's pros and con..... But the question remain...Is China economic system working for the nation...BIG YES.... Is the present USA economic system of WINNER TAKES IT ALL working for the nation and it's people...BIG NO... China is deliberately suppressing domestic income because they want to milk as much money out of the western economy as long as possible via export.... When western nation finally goes broke, China will turn to domestic consumer spending to stimulate growth..... The stupid western countries especially USA is too blind to see the problem.... Rather immigrants from 3rd world nation is the cause of their economic woes.... |
