Our corrupt judiciary deliberately dragged the case for over 15yrs until the patent owner died and things went awry.

We supported the man financially as he needed to use money to do many things as required by law and pursue the case, because it was an obvious case of cheating by the corporate body, supported by corrupt judicial officers.

It was not donations jare. Contributing made you a co-patentee with the promise of a cash-out when the lawsuit is won.

The monies don lost be that, I just skimmed thru a 2011 thread and saw excerpts from Court documents where both the pertinent Supreme Court lawsuit and subsequent appeals were dismissed.

And some "co-patentees" never knew about it and were still holding out for a judicial triumph , even their mobilisers never told them

It's just like investing in the company with benefits, thereafter.

I bought shares while i was in Uni and collected dividends and bonuses after the business year. So i saw the investment as a mutual benefit thingy for me and for the company.

Arrival of democracy deceived most of us, that things would be done properly in Nigeria. Nobody would be deprived of his rights.

It was set up a Ponzi scheme from the get-go, not to fight any patent case. The legal angle is just to reel you into the Ponzi.

My dad bought his properties in Ibadan and Lagos, from dividends and bonuses from shares he bought in Lever brothers, Chevron and other blue chip companies. Most of his colleagues were mocking him, drinking alcohol up and down, buying Mercedes benz regular and 505, while he was investing.

Several years later, he was earning nothing less than a million naira every month, and diversified. That's why despite the bearish experienced in stock prices subsqequently, he wasn't affected. He had made his money back and invested in properties, which is paying him till date.

That's the difference between me and you. While you pride yourself for knowing all the ashewo joints from Ikorodu to Badagry, i ventured into many investments that at the end of the day have profited me, no matter the downturn met on the way.

If as an engineering graduate that you claimed to be (we still need to confirm), you can't learn from story of Faraday, then your case is beyond repair.
