Have been having ads pop up on my phone and it is very annoying. After weeks now, the ads would just open a link by itself on my browser without me clicking anything, even as my browser is not in use.
The latest is a Porn site just came up on my ucweb browser and I never opened the browser neither did I click any ads.

I have had enough of this nonsense. What do I do..
And BTW I didn't download any app of recent

Some sites are affiliated with porrn even though they are not porn sites.... especially sites where u download free movies, free pop music and TV series....e.g toxicwap..Fz-tvseries etc.....once ur cookies are on.....data analyst of those sites have run programme that will automatically pop ads u directly or indirectly checked...

Some days back, I checked out a PS vita .....and about 4 website just kept popping all game console ads on my screen........we are not safe man.....the internet is a crazy place.....

That's a virus. Flash the phone to clear everything completely

Well....not much...u can't hide from the internet.....first clear ur Cache, all browsing history, check if u have a strange apps, it might not be on ur menu..but it will be in application settings and folder....it will be an apk file...delete them...the ones important to ur phone ur phone will let u know u can't delete.....
Go to ur browser settings under site or accessibility setting , I think u have disable pop up and redirects on chrome, I don't know of UC-web....if u can, avoid freebie sites....some are pornn affiliated...

That's one of the things I loved the old blackberry OS before all this android nonsense took over..but still, u can manage it a bit by also Browsing incognito on Chrome...that will help not to keep ur browsing traffic saved...
