I have an existing inverter , but the charge current is not enough to charge my batteries adequately , the inverters i have used are working well but it appears none is charging the batteries well enough, BTS inverter sounds strange though , I am not sure I have heard about that inverter , could you help with more information. thank you

Most batteries have C10 rating that means you need at least 10% of the capacity as the charging current, for example, if you use 200AH battery, you need 20Amps charging current. If you have an inverter that gives you less charging current, it will take a longer time for the battery to get fully charged and the batteries may not be properly charged which may lead to damage of the batteries. A battery charging cycle is in 4 phases, Bulk, Absorption, Float and then Equalisation, the ability of an inverter to charge your batteries very well will have always have an impact on the life span. Don’t buy batteries bigger than the charging capacity of the inverter; be sure it is supplying enough current to charge the battery bank!
