She will shout,cry,twist her body,run away at any given chance. It's not even about the water because no matter the water is,madam will still act film. For your baby, put things in front of him that he would like to reach for. One thing i find really good for babies is consistent tummy time when they are still very young. Once you start tummy time you see their muscles getting stronger and stronger and they can reach their milestones faster.

But crawling fast is overrated, that's when they really start to make your life a living hell I won't worry about it if I were you. He'd sha move the day he wants to move, with or without help

So I have no choice than to bring a sensitive topic here.
It's about Proudmum. It's taken me quite a while to even do this because I was trying to do some check and be convinced before passing judgement: good or bad.

I know a lot of us know PM from way back 2015 and we know her history. She's been here several times to solicit for help and well meaning NLers always rise to her aid. Over these past months, I had a handful of moms call me that she sent text to them for help offline and she solicited for help.
To the best of my knowledge, she really does need the help. We pray that we shouldn't be burdened with what exceeds our finances and our emotional capacity..
So I got on the phone and spoke to her. I made her realize she can only ask for help for so long till people get tired of her wàhálà and ignore her.

So I'm here, pleading on her behalf that we set up a seed funding for her to start a business or help her get a job. She resides in Edo state. If anyone can help her get a good job please contact me or her.
For the seed funding, no amount is too small. We are not giving it to her to eat or buy drugs.
We are giving it to her to start a small scale business. She will legit write a business plan for us and what she intends to use the money for and will be monitored closely. She will also lose any right to come on this forum or her NL contacts to request for financial assistance henceforth.

The money will not be given to her directly, it will be paid to a member of the MHC account and then the giver will please send a message containing the amount contributed to me for transparency and accountability sake.
At the end of a stipulated time, the total amount will be announced here and transferred to her alongside our well wishes.

I bathed hot water for a week and drank it also for a week after that I resumed my normal water. But body differs though so may be you can stop after 2weeks

My DS is 7months plus and ayam still bathing hot water, I can't stand cold water. Our body differs, I will advise u try for few days, maybe after naming and see if u can tolerate d cold water.

Kelizousy, keep trying, it will definitely pass too. My son will be 3 by April, and we r much better with bathing and brushing except on mornings we don't allow him to pray

You can drink and bath cold water whenever you want.

My dear, the answer is relative.
Some start as soon as the child starts to sit to get d child used to the potty, some started as soon as the child hit 18 months, some as soon as the child feels he messed himself up, some starts as soon as the child can express himself in simple words like peepee etc. It really depends on the child, I would say 18 months and above is cool.
Remember, patience is the key.

Eyaa. Just go to the pharmacy and ask of Nystatin for an infant. It comes with a dropper. Give the required dose. I think it's 1ml three times daily. A bottle lasts for five days. Then buy baby tribotan and apply on the back. It will clear completely. Kisses to the lil one.

I forgot to add. That's an infection from the inside but the Nystatin will take care of it. To me sha, that baby tribotan isn't that active. Use Skineal cream mixed with a lil shea butter and apply all over the spot area especially the bum and neck region. Forget the ish about skineal containing steroid and harsh on a baby. USE it. Works wonders but stop immediately the marks clears off.

Eeehe sorry that I'm talking too much o. The red spot on your baby's bum area...that looks like diaper reaction. The diaper you're currently using might not be compatible with his skin, hence the reaction(red spot), so you may need to change to another brand. Then change his diaper regularly. Don't allow your baby to stay long in his poo or urine before changing. Also, apply a generous amount of Vaseline(blue seal) all over his bum area when u want to change to a fresh diaper. Lastly, air the bum for at least 1hr/day. Allow breeze touch im nyash(*shinesteeth) sometimes. Na person he be.

These are the three options

Option number 1

if your baby goes to Creche,

Get a small cake 8-12k

Get party packs, maybe a modest party pack, there are some I've seen that came in tiny nylons with just sweets, biscuits, ribena and a small toy, maybe whistle inside. Guess like 5k can take care of this type of party pack depending on how many kids you have to give. It doesn't have to be this basic tho, for GBs first birthday, i put one story book, one stuffed animal then just loaded the bag with sweets and children's drinks.

Take these to the creche, they would sing happy birthday and you take pictures with your phone.

Option number 2 and my plan for GB's 2nd birthday.
If your baby doesn't go to creche.

Get a small cake 8_12k

Get two cartons of malt, I dunno what that costs, maybe 4k
Take pictures with your phone

Share the cake and drinks with neighbours and any other places where the baby has fans. Don't invite them to your house, just package it and take to them. (I've seen stuff on my desk at work sometimes and id ask from where and they would say someone's baby turned +1).

Option number 3. Mini party
Cook a big cooler of rice
Buy drinks
Get a cake
Get a cheap photographer
Fix the birthday party on a weekend if it didn't fall there.
Text close friends and family to come by, you don't even have to specify the time. Everyone would come by at different times, eat, gist and go.

Miscellaneous if your money is still remaining
Cute birthday outfit(s)10k more or less
You can always go to a cheap studio and do a photoshoot, i hear studio24 or whatever is not charging 100k like the rest of them
Also instead of taking pictures with your phone, you can call a good roadside photographer or that one that hangs out at your church on Sundays. Don't mention the words 'one year old' or 'photoshoot', just tell them there's a small get together in your house and begin to bargain like an Ijebu.
