What happened to just sending erring students out of your class?
All these educated illiterate lecturers in our schools that love going on a power trip.

You made sense, but the video posted here is assault plain and simple. He had no right to be that physically aggressive to the lady in question, his action is barbaric.

Say as he dey teach na there him eyes dey go. He told us that he doesn't like school runs but these girls are pushing him and him know say them wan koba am. Say if that lady no comot for class he no go ever return again.
I lie not to you FAM if you see race wey we use go class go let everyone know wetin dey sup. Called the okpo explain stuffs na so she begin blow grammar. Say she no go leave class. If you see the way her fellow ladies bundle her out. As in carry. Literally. Drag am from third floor reach down.
No be her parle pay school fees for us na.
She nearly put aboniki inside our Vaseline.

The only thing I Go just talk be say in this case Mr lecturer allow emotion take control over am. He over vex. There are a million ways to deal with students than this. And trust me if he see this video their own sef don done.

When I was in school... You dare not try this! Even if it is not my department, I'll walk in and ask the lecturer to stop. What nonsense!

They did not dress well.. Kindly walk them out of the class Na.. If they refuse... You leave the class for them or escalate to the head of department.

When I was serving, my LGI asked some of us to remove our shoes infront of other corps members during CDS because they were not NYSC issued. See as all the "fear-fear" jewmen were pulling off their shoes and going about barefooted. I tried to explain to the woman that the NYSC issued shoes were of very poor quality and had gone bad since when I was still in camp. The woman wasn't ready to listen, her own was just for me to pull my white snickers and walk barefooted.

Deep inside of me me... I was like "we die here!!!"
I did not pull my shoes and nothing, I mean nothing happened. She threatened me with extension, escalation to state coordinator and facing DC etc. At the end I still passed out with my batch and not even an hour was added to my service year.

In as much as I don't support insubordination... But this type of treatment is totally uncalled for. Me that was waiting for sceneries like these to make news headline wayback. Mtcheeewww. You go just resign by yourself or your body go tell you!

Before the lecture can see such dressing has improper, then which means there was rules and regulations stating how they students are expected to dress. You don't see him harassing the whole class, you don't know if he has warned them before.

Inasmuchas I don't support Mr wosu's method of enforcing the proper dress code for students in faculty of law river state University, he is doing the right thing in a wrong way. I was his student for five years and we experienced lots of ill treatments from him, so many persons were harrassed especially ladies but along the line we noticed he spared those who are close to him both male and female but punished and harrassed those who are his church members or his friends. On the other hand, some students in the faculty has violated the dress code of out Nobel profession in recent times and that's why he must do what is necessary but not to the extreme as seen in this video which has gone viral, he has to adopt a more Nobel approach to handle issues pertaining to dress code. Look at the pictures attached and see the level at which dress code violation in the faculty of law river state University has been downgraded to. These are level 500 and 400 students of the faculty, students like these should be punished but in a more civil manner.

Lawyers never dress anyhow. Even American law students. It is their code of conduct. If you can't do it, then don't practice law.

Uncle, the world is getting to the stage of "Don't touch me".
You don't actually have the right to touch anybody unless the person gives you permission. Anything happen now, the student can sue the lecturer back for assault. Na so oyibo dey do. Any small intelligence they get, they use it to defend themselves. Unless these students are imbeciles, I don't see them letting this pass for too long. This video is enough for court case against the lecturer already.
