Good morning good people of this forum, I decided to share this problem here because I know a lot experienced goons on Nissan issues are here.
I own a 2004 Murano with 3.5L eng. I have been enjoying the car and I am careful to service timely and use the recommended NS2 transmission fluid only.
Recently I just changed the filter because I noticed hesitation when I accelerate.. The car takes a while before it picks up speed. So I talked to my mechanic who suggested we clean the filter. Filter packed up after cleaning, ended up buying new filter and pump and car came back normal. Moves very and hesitation was gone.
Two weeks later, I was driving around town and suddenly the car just lost momentum in motion(like when the battery is disconnected) acceleration meter dropped so I pulled over to check what happened. The battery was intact, checked all the fuses, all was intact. I started the car, it will start and run slow mode but it will not accelerate beyond 2mph on the dashboard. We have changed the pedal cause it's cos throtleless, we've changed air flow meter and so many other things that could possibly cause this, it still won't raise.
We did a scan and it brought many issues the last was ECU which the guy said was brain box.
We have brought different murano brain box and programmed it, still the same thing. Although the guy said it's because we've not seen the exact serial number.
I'm confused here and don't know what else to do. I'm even contemplating selling it off as is.
This is a beautiful and comfortable ride and I'm sad about to lose it guys please help out with ideas. I need suggestions what to do to restore this vehicle.

Could you pls post scan result. Changing throttleless or whatever you call wouldn't solve the nightmare on that vehicle. Post exact scan result as seen on the scan tool. We can move up the ladder from there

I didn't take pictures of the scanning machine as at the time it was scanned but I made sure it was written out. I will upload it shortly.
