It won’t be a bad saying even if he was addressing the whole nation but given the fact that little is being done by the government to “increase the means” of the average Nigerian, i see how it would draw ire from many parts.

Herein lies the crux of the whole debate. The average Nigerian is ambitious and little or nothing is done to better her lifestyle and that statement just set heads rolling.
