Modric : “The absence of Cristiano is something every team would feel; to find a replacement for Cristiano is almost impossible,” Modric told journalists. “Given what he did for us and this club, we miss Cristiano. The club wanted the other players to make up for what he did, divided between the strikers and that is not easy. “That is our biggest problem this year. For example against Barca in the cup we had many chances and when you don't take advantage your opponent punishes you.'' Forget story, just ask Perez to replace the useless bag of beans, Benzema, with Kane. |

*FIFA Refuses❌ to Postpone Chelsea Ban* FIFA has denied a request from Chelsea to postpone their transfer ban while they appeal the punishment. Chelsea could now ask the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to grant an interim ruling, which would allow players to be signed in the off season. Chelsea were banned from registering new players through January 2020 for breaking rules designed to protect teenage players. The Premier League side were also fined more than £460,000, while the FA face a £390,000 sanction that they will also appeal, citing "concerns" with FIFA's disciplinary processes. The west London club were found guilty of 29 incidences of breaching article 19, which relates to the transfer of players aged under 18. The club denies any wrongdoing and "categorically refutes the finding of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee" In previous similar cases involving top Spanish clubs, FIFA granted provisional measures which meant transfer bans were not enforced during the appeal process. *Ranieri Named Interim Manager at Roma* Claudio Ranieri has been appointed AS Roma's manager following the departure of Eusebio Di Francesco. The former Fulham and Leicester City boss will be in the dugout for his first match on Monday as Roma are set to take on Empoli at the Stade Olimpico. Ranieri has signed a contract with the club through June as he will help the club see out the rest of the Serie A campaign. “We are delighted to welcome Claudio Ranieri back to the club,” said Roma president Jim Pallotta. Di Francesco's departure came in the wake of Roma's Champions League elimination at the hands of Porto, ending the club's run in the round of 16. To read full article - http://v.duta.us/2DjkFQAA |

*De Bruyne & Stones Still Sidelined for Man City* John Stones and Kevin de Bruyne have not recovered from injuries in time to feature for Manchester City against Watford, but Pep Guardiola suggested Aymeric Laporte could be back. Both Stones (groin) and De Bruyne (hamstring) were substituted in last week's win at Bournemouth with knocks, although manager Guardiola said at the time that the England defender's withdrawal looked to be merely precautionary. De Bruyne was also upbeat about his own fitness, saying the ailment was "not so bad". Neither player will face Watford on Saturday, but Premier League leaders City were boosted by Laporte's return to training this week, with the defender – injured in the Carabao Cup final – initially ruled out until the end of the month. "All of them are getting better. They are better," said Guardiola. "Aymeric is back. He trained the last two or three days. I don't know if he's available. "Kevin is not quite fit. John Stones is not fit either, but the other ones are okay." To read full article - http://v.duta.us/LUcibQAA |

However, if you desire the life of fast cars, beautiful resorts, top models and all the other paparazzi lifestyles, you should worker even harder to afford it. Nigerians, most of us just like attacking the man for little or no reason. Too many illiterates are beginning to access Twitter. |

SkimpleD:The message is actually targeted at the middle class. The question is, what is the alternative to “living within your means”? |
