Hi All..

I have been away for a long time.

Thanks to so many who asked as to my whereabouts and how I am fairing and those who stood by me in the last few months.

➖ Sometime early last year I made a very huge loss investing in crypto-currency.

➖ I invested more than my networth to the sum of hundred of millions, I got in at a high price of 6.91 million and months later I sold over 130 bitcoins at 2.2 million

➖ My whole world was crumbling. As you know with cryptocurrency, it's a gamble. The more you are in the more you want to gamble all.

➖ My loss shooked me. I had to sell my properties and belongings to settle up my investors. It was a case of my word against my investors.

➖ This I did. And I couldn't leave with myself for months. I went literally broke.

➖ For months I was off without talking to anyone or meeting anyone.

➖ Now I am okay. But in these period of downtime I wouldn't have been able to be up again without the help of the following nairaland individuals

* IzikJon
* Apex
* MarcJoe
* tutucious
* tooltip
* whizQueen
* Samkay
* Initialise
* Unknown lady ❤️❤️

➖ The above name all listed in no particular order of relevance. These people I met on nairaland stood with me. Supported me and fought for me.

➖ I want to say I came on this platform and met people who stood with me as brothers.

➖ Thanks.

➖ Sadly my stay on this forum as come to an end. And I doubt I will visit here again. It was interesting while it all lasted, the memories discussions with you all .

➖ Thanks.

For those who sent tons and tons of PM. I saw them but couldn't reply. I am really sorry.

For future contact. You can contact me on Twitter: @youngotutu

➖ Just state your nairaland handle and that's all. Thanks and Good bye.

*Edit: I am doing fine now. So no course for alarm. I am back to the office.

Also kindly follow me on twitter. My profile picture is my account.

Thanks

I appreciate his transparency.

So unlike the data and tomatoes business he did. Where the factors of production and sales are clear. So your cost and sales figures are clear.

Crypto like mmm is simply a gamble unless you are a trader on crypto.

You can’t call it an investment cos you don’t know the end result. So it’s basically gamble.

He likes to do it big. But I think there is a lot of risk in jumping from one venture to another. He should rather spend a lot of time on one. Optimize. Fine tune. And re use it. If he had stayed on the tomatoes or data. I believe he will have done better long term and build sustainability.

My opinion though. But again. Who am I ? And am not in his shoes.

You are right. I am sure he has learned... He was on the fast lane, always after the fast money. He will bounce back for sure. Crypto is not MMM per se... it is as real as was stated.

The problem is world cabals kicked against it out of fear just as we are currently experiencing in Nigerian election. There are forces bigger than you and I on earth here and the result is what led to the fall of crypto.

Now what some persons are doing is to TRADE it like forex, better than holding in for long. It was good while it lasted.

People should always have an exit plan for business like this... there are always signs to be frank.

I will always respect him for his transparency. And wish all of us good health and great wealth.

I don’t care about the conspiracy theory. Money that you are always refreshing page and hoping and can’t sleep. Something you don’t know if it will go up and down and you start reading FT just to hope for speculators.. na na.. bad market.

Meanwhile I love fast money o. Just that building capacity is necessary.

I mean Dangote been building refinery now..
How many years?
How much money spent ?

Same with the cement...

I don’t like slow.. fast is good but build capacity.

everybody love fast money... but the truth is that kind of money does not last I have been there before and I lost all. I had to calm my head down and decide to build on something solid.

It is hard, slower but not impossible. First off all, you will almost go insane trying to look for a perfect market to fit in, then when you find it, getting in is another problem.

.... I remember some persons were advicing him few years ago about his method and he was told to build a real business. His response was 'he will think about it"

Dude is smart and fast racer. Ymodulus is someone I have a kind high respect for. It is very hard to move me to admiration and if you do (only a a handful of persons), it is because you have some sort of high caliber of uniqueness.

You can't be a man without going through this phase... NAH! Every great minds I know have experienced this fall, some fall harder than others but how you take your fall is the most important.

Next level. You can be faster.

Simply build capacity. Takes time to build capacity. However it is necessary to scale up.

I know for a fact.

lol... bros, the last part makes me laugh...let me tell you something. You see that thing you call slow, especially from business savvy people like Dangote, is the best way. When Dangote is finished.... do you know the amount of money he will make? IT WILL RAIN... The Money used isnt his.. it is purely OPM

There is something to learn from here, especially in a country like Nigeria.

The most important thing is have a business you can control, 100% control.

Don’t matter the kind of business.

Simply build capacity to allow for scaling to fast growth.

Re: Hi by Nobody: 6:56am On Mar 11, 2019
Well my crypto story
Was different, maybe cause I had a fx trading background

I lost a total of 20k USD and made around 70kusd

I did not buy bitcoin and hold cause it's not an investment and buying bitcoin at a her high price (19kusd)was a very big gamble

I made money from fast appreciating ICOs
Then went back to my fx /futures trading in a big way which I enjoy till date

You will bounce back though, stay strong
