A Nigerian professor with Carlton University in Canada, Pius Adesanmi, is among those that died this morning on the ill fated Ethiopia airlines flight that claimed 157 lives. 

Pius was on his way to attend the AU ECOSOCC committee meeting in Nairobi.

But really what's the essence of all the long stories they tell before the plane takes off. What's the essence of the parachutes and all if the phucking pilot will not be honest enough to let people know they are gonna crash and let them find a way out. I have never heard of anybody escaping plane crash with parachutes or whatever. They all end up dying. So annoying.

Since you've never heard of one, search for 'Kelechi, the Nigerian Sosoliso Plane Crash Survivor'.
Meanwhile, if pilots knew they would crash they wouldn't be on the plane.

You don't really want to stand up to suit up a parachute, you can't access it because you would not stand, air and pressure will toss you till you get hurt and pass out and that's worse.

Did she jump outta the plane with the parachute or she just survived after the plane crashed? Maybe people should wear the parachutes as the board the plane. Once the pilot knows the notices any fault while on flight and can tell the chances of safe crash landing is zero , then they should allow people find their way. People wey go die go die and people wey parachutes go save go remain. It's just painful to see all passengers die like that.

Last October, there was a plane crash with all passengers on board dead in Indonesia.
Just this year, Emiliano Salah died in a plane crash.
This Ethiopian cargo was not made in Africa, in fact it was purchased about 4 months ago. Ethiopian airline is one of the most successful airlines across the world.

So what's Africa in all of this? Are you sure you don't need to leave our Africa for us?
We don't want to have another problem of creating facilities for people with this "don't trust anything Africa" thing.

Well, suiting up the parachutes won't make them enjoy their flight. I think it would be better if those parachutes CAN be mounted at the back of each seats instead of the screens and purses they designed there. This way, passengers would find it easy to suit up a parachute and prepare for an emergency landing even with their seat belts on.
