So a friend of mine, narrated a story about how his daughter walked up to him and her mother and announced that she wants to start having sex. Although they raised their child up to be open about anything, but this hit him like a sucker punch.
After the announcement, she walked away leaving her parents deep in thought as to how to deal with the situation. They don't want to reprimand her and push her away, but encouraging her might also plunge her deeper.
So friends, in this situation what would your reaction be? Please share your thoughts...

Doesn’t he or she know where they sell condoms?
I never told my parents so I see no reason why my child should do so.

I did not, but times are changing. I won't raise my kids the way I was raised. Plus the child was raised to be open about anything, she obviously knows nothing about sex and should be guided.
