Folajimi Lai-Mohammed who represents Ikeja Constituency 1 has been re-elected for his second term at the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Folajimi who is the son of Nigeria’s Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed polled 10, 490 votes to defeat his closest rival, Seye Dairo of the Peoples Democratic Party who got 3,000 votes.

Also, Honourable Adedamola Richard Kasunmu, the member representing Ikeja Constituency 2 at the Lagos state House of Assembly has been re-elected.

Kasunmu who is also known as ARK, a nephew of National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu polled 16,891 votes while his closest opponent, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Congress,Lateef Onisuna had 4,341 votes.


ARK defeated 15 other contenders with a margin of over 12,000 votes to coast home to victory.
