Computer Science ≠ Mathematics

You have to have a goal in life, if you do your choice of study should be easy to pick. Picking a course cause of influence e.t.c seems a bit shortsighted. Well that's how I feel about it.

If you intend working in our country then I'll suggest comp sci.

I applied computer science and was given mathematics.... That's the problem.. And I code too, I've got passion for computing and I was unable to secure computer science

U can actually proceed with the math u were given.
Nigeria University will only give you the theory aspects of a course.
You actually need to develop urself..
Going for computer science will never make u a genius in that Field, or computer guru.

Just try to develop urself.
Go for the math and dont stop coding, continue with it
