Thats why I want Atiku to go to court so SAN's can finish the remaining loot he has with him

They thought Atiku will win so that all corrupt cases will be dropped but God pass them.

The reason is simple, he can not continue paying hunge amount of money to hire SAN and there is no result to show. Been a wise man he opt for a lawyer that he will pay less.

No Ghana must go kind of money for the SANs again, same fate awaits Ozekhome

My belief was that a SAN always knows more than a lawyer. I may be wrong though.

Out of #400m he stole,he will pay 2 SAN #70m each,if he knew he wuld hav kept his filthy mouth shut....he carry PDP matter for head like gala.

A former spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh, has disengaged two Senior Advocates of Nigeria leading his defence in his N400m money laundering case before the Federal High Court in Abuja.

He immediately replaced the two senior lawyers with another lawyer, Mr. Abel Ozioko, who appeared in the case for the first time on Wednesday.

Metuh’s decision to disengage the two SANs – Dr. Onyechi Ikpezu and Mr. Emeka Etiaba (SAN) – came barely 24 hours after the senior lawyers filed an application for withdrawal as the defendant’s counsel.

Justice Okon Abang had on March 5, 2019, fixed Wednesday for the hearing of the SANs’ application.

But before the scheduled hearing, Metuh had written to the SANs disengaging them as his lawyers.


The two SANs had been leading his defence since January 2016 when the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission preferred the charges against him.

Metuh and his firm, Destra Investment Limited, are being prosecuted by the EFCC on money laundering charges, involving allegations that they both fraudulently took the sum N400m from the Office of the National Security Adviser “when they reasonably ought to know” that the money was part of the proceeds of alleged criminal act of then NSA, Sambo Dasuki.


The ex-PDP’s spokesperson was also accused of transacting with cash of $2m without going through a financial institution in violation of a provision of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act.

At the Wednesday’s proceedings, Ikpeazu, informed the judge that his application seeking an order permitting him and his law firm to withdraw from the case had been overtaken by event following the Metuh’s letter of disengagement of his law firm.

4OO Million Naira if properly spent will make a difference in our lifes. But he had all those money for himself.

Now is payback time.

He is on his own carrying his cross with EFCC with Ex-President Jonathan deserting him.

ANOTHER DANGERIOUS ASPECT OF METUH WAS THAT HE WAS THE MOUTHPIECE OF THE JONATHAN LED PDP.

HE WAS THE ARROW HEAD OF THEIR PROPAGANDA MACHINERY.

HE WAS A STRONG CRITIC OF THE APC GOVERNMENT UNTIL HE WAS PICKED AND THE SKELETON IN HIS CUPBOARD OPENED FOR HIM.

Metuh did not shut his BASKETMOUTH knowfully well that his hands were not clean.

He kept on criticizing Buhari and the Apc government.

The rest is history for him now as he has been incarcerated for close to 4 years now.

His calculations for 2019 have failed him and he has now run out of money to maintain these expensive SANS. We will see similar things happening with Onnoghen and Dasuki.

Probably can't afford their services anymore. COurt cases are very expensive.

I remember how he was doing stronghead back then. He backed out of plea bargain or whatever it is called. He insisted that Jonathan must appear at the court to defend him, funny kid man. He later wanted the deal back when it was already off the table.

aggressive in what way by shouting on judge? Please explain further remember that there is a punishment for any lawyer make reckless speech in court room.

Instead of him to enter plea bargaining on issue of 400m dasuki money, he's wasting part of it changung counsel.. Kwantiniu

If to say Methu get sense, he for don plead guilty since & he would've served 3yrs of the his prison term instead of this chess game. He knows he will eventually go to prison no matter how long it takes.

No matter what you do Metuh, by God's grace we shall see you go to jail
