Has anyone seen Devilman Crybaby here? Do you think it lived up to the hype?

This show has had rave reviews online since it dropped in back in January 2018, but after watching it, I can't say that I see where the hype is coming from.

In my view, the story seemed contrived, the plot progression was inconsistent, the characterization and character development was lacking, and the dialogue was atrocious. I personally liked the visuals and the sound direction, though.

I think the hype comes from the fact that it was a decent modern adaptation of a 1970s manga compared to adaptations like berserk2016.
As for the story, the original story was already convoluted.

The Visuals wasn't really that impressive... The story on the other hand was Great... The ending was Epic

Wow 8.5! Is it because of the ending? I thought the ending was a decent set piece but the build-up to it was rushed and almost nonsensical. I mean...why would Akira continue working with Ryo even when it was obvious that Ryo was a murderous sociopath? Especially when he wanted to kill Miki. The plot just seemed so railroaded that the payoff at the end didn't have the effect it should have.

One of the funniest anime out there along with hinamatsuri and daily lifes of highschool boys. I'd recommend to anyone into comedy anime. 9/10

My rating isn't just cos of the ending... The entire Anime was good ✔️


Akira and Ryo were basically friends till Ryo started displaying his psychopathic tendencies... Up until that moment the story moved splendidly, from the epic horror Scenes to the even more epic Sex scenes

At the end the Stage was set for the Ultimate Showdown... And for once Nakama Power didn't prevail at the end of an Anime, the bad guy actually won, simply because he was that much stronger... It was a sad ending, but very Epic... Near excellent Anime in my opinion ✔️

Anime was Gold from start to finish... Only issue I had was the abrupt ending... So many things left undone, they casually announced while the second season was airing that it would be the last season, but the Demon Lord that was the main reason for the going to the other world in the first place, we never even heard or saw any trace of the Demon lord... Was just depressing the way it ended

I loved Land of the lustrous and I would add Made in Abyss into my list.

just finished Castlevania season 1. the show is awesome. already downloaded season 2. also that blonde skinny dude ain't no alucard lol.

Ghost in the Shell The New Movie (2015).
The finale of the Arise ova.
It's got Good visuals and action. Story wise I would say it's better than the Hollywood live action film, but it's not anywhere near as good as the original movies or The stand alone complex series.
I give it a 6/10.
The English dub is among the best, but all the Ghost in the shell anime has top tier dubs.

High quality

I usually use soulreaperzone.com I get my high quality mkv format from there, but they have too many ads and the process for downloading is a little bit annoying. So I don't recommend it.
The other site I use sometimes that has high quality mp4 is www4.gogoanimes.to it has fewer ads and it's easy to download from there.

Lol, Soulreaperzone can frustrate someone... I usually download from Animerush or Chia-Anime but these days they're just stressing me up and down, my downloads keep cutting off halfway.

He is one of the things wrong with the Castlevania Anime.... There are only three things wrong with that Anime, and they are those three Stooges that Supposedly defeated Dracula

Other than the Plot armor in and around them the Anime was excellent
