According to confirmed reports, at least four persons have been killed in the space of few weeks by suspected cultists.

It was earlier reported that a young man was shot dead in front of Winter suit hotels along Poly/Ihiagwa road on Friday night. It was gathered that the deceased was killed by the gunmen suspected to be cultists after being trailed to where he was murdered.

This is coming after a young hairstylist identified as Noah Okorie but popularly known as ‘Mentor’, said to be a student of Federal Polytechnic Nekede in Owerri, was attacked and killed by the rampaging cultists.

Owerri is one of the most dangerous state to live in.

That Nass junction/ poly junction straight down to isman is rugged.


Back then in 2014, I went to one canteen to eat,i saw only two men there, looking gentle and neat.

I entered, the woman gave me a sign that I should go, but before then, I saw guys outside and as I was entering they were all looking at me.


So I went away and stayed not too far till those men were gone. I asked a lady selling recharge card there who those men were?


She said they were CP of high cult group, I just got up and absconded that vicinity.


Almost all youths in that poly nekede are cultists. I wouldn't even allow my enemy go there till the issue of cultism is tackled.
