It is nice but sounds more like reinventing the wheel because I can easily take a screenshot of a webpage on my phone or snip on PC, so why use an app ? or are there other functionalities attached?
are you merely embarking on it to test some functions or you hope that the general public would use it?

I see.

It's a project to test my python skill.

then no problem at all, you'll learn some things and a better usage for what you've learnt can come from there too.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Nairaland banned me from replying, I still don't know why.

It's just for my room light. First of all, are you based in Lagos?

Current project is a cloud contact with ability to detect intrusions( i.e. detect a hacker), actually developed to implement a IDS feature built directly on the application layer of the OS rather than the usual Network layer.

Just finished a word game two days ago. Unjumble - a competitive word game. Unjumble is based on the concept of finding words from a set of jumbled letters.

Developed in Android studio and uses Firebase database and Google Play services for online features, achievements and leaderboards.

Check it out and let me know how I can improve it.

Downloaded it n tried it out. The interface is nice and okay. So no visual negatives distracting d user.
The cons are: 1) the tutorial is a tad too lengthy. I got tired of being told what to do. Keep it short and unobtrusive.

2) this is a big one. The letters don't change with each new combination. It remained the same set- jumbles- . It got too boring after that.
It looks too much like a scrabble-like thing

Please i need advise on my next step as a web designer. I am quite proficient with CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Materialize, Bulma) and i want to take my skill further to the next level.

I dabbled a bit in Backend(Node.js) but didnt like it. So I need to know what Frontend Javascript frameworks are used for(Vue, React) and if its necessary to learn them or not. Because i still cant comprehend why we even need them.

Thanks

RCP Lite

A minimalist Rich Client Platform inspired by Netbeans Platform. The framework gives you the ability to develop dockable applications while focusing only on the core functionalities required by your application. Dockable components, menus, tools, modules can be created by simply annotating classes.

Just seeing this now.
1. Yes, I may have put in too much text in the tutorial. But I made it possible to skip the tutorial by pressing the back button. And the tutorial is a one time thing.

2. The game is actually inspired by Scrabble. But unlike Scrabble, the set of letters available to you do not change during the session. Unlike Scrabble, when you play a word, the letters do not get consumed and replaced. They remain in the set. There is a "new combination". The objective is to find as many words as you can from a predetermined set of letters.

Getting into programmng from electrical engineering, how did you find it? Was it a cakewalk or daunting ? How would a programmer with no math/sciency bckgroung cope entering engineering esp elct/electronics? Easy, mildly challening or daunting
From my lil experience, someone can do fine in programming without having a math background. But at some point you might need math depending of the project u are working on. But generally speaking u don't need math or science background to be a programmer.

It interacts with microcontroller and Bluetooth module to control devices ..it is tested and in use presently.
Nice work, but I think the UI is poor, that's my own opinion though, but generally it's a good work.
