Thanks for the detailed info Sir. What I wanted to convey was that,folks in rural areas are more knowledgeable in the area of gutting animals. It's more of a way of life to them.
They might not know about the parasites but they know exactly what to keep & what to throw away than people who probably see snakes only on cable TV. Though there's no local study to showcase the long term effects of eating bushmeat. We might have been able to see how efficient/inefficient local methods are against parasite infected bushmeat.

Anyway,wetin concern me with snake. I still dey look for roasted ewuju bushmeat.

I've never eaten a snake and I NEVER WILL
because of what I've seen on Discovery
Channel's Predators Gone Wild.

Those animals have killed people and other
animals as well. I've seen a cobra kill a male
lion on Nat Geo Wild.

Even lions attack giraffes and elephants
with impunity now in the African wild
jungles. I just dislike snakes, lions, and
crocodiles when they attack especially
human beings.
