El Rufai is a public official, whether hated or not. There's no harm in wondering what became of him after the accident he was involved in.
It did claim the life of his driver, didn't it? As he has not been seen or heard from since then, speculations and rumors would be rife. Same thing that happened when Buhari was hospitalized overseas and whole thing got shrouded in silence.

Meanwhile, that's an online response. It's not as if El Rufai physically rebuffed the person asking about his whereabout over an official function.

Since when has it become a crime or morally wrong to ask or question the presence of elected public officials, be he your governor or not?
This here's the reason why in this part of the world, your government representatives act and feel like demi-gods. They're above answering to any of us. Was that a dignified response a governor is meant to give, even if the person was mischievous?

Buhari is still flying out to get treatment abroad, after allegedly winning a 2nd term. This man has billions at his disposal to build just 1 world class hospital with the best doctors to cater for his needs, but he hasn't. He also refused to push for reforms in our healthcare
You people that are not seeing anything wrong in this should continue. Shebi our doctors are leaving in their thousands?? We would eventually have to wait for those in school to graduate to get treated. The government in their desperation may also shorten time spent in med school

And we would get the half baked doctors that we truly deserve. Bill Gates really did say that we're not a serious country with the level of investment being made in our education and healthcare. I really don't see anything changing soon. Maybe Buhari really is who we deserve.
