I am surprised at this type of question.
Even if you have a PhD you can never work as a medical doctor without going through medical school.

If you want to be a medical doctor, enrol for medicine through JAMB. There's no shortcut to it.
A medical doctor has a different job description from a medical lab scientist even when both of them are working in hematology departments.

switch to MLS if you can, graduate with a good grade and proceed to get a postgraduates degree in haematology

Pls i have a passion for hematology and would like to study about it as well as doctoring in a hospital preferably sickle cell hospitals .I am currently studying biochemistry in uniben but am planning to transfer to med lab sci .I discovered that a masters for hematology is available after completion of the course.I would like to know if i can work as a medical doctor specialized in hematology after completion of the masters.Or do i need to study medicine and then specialize in hematology before i can doctor in sickle cell hospitals and centers. Also will d pay be same for both paths .And lastly if i can use the B.mls and msc hepatology degree to wprk as a medical doctor will i be employed as a resident doctor or consultant. Pls guys i need ur answers and suggestions
Msc haematology only makes you an academician not a clinician.

If your dream is to be a medic, I would advise you to either cross to MBBs or get another Jamb form.

If you even get your BMLs , you will never consult, your work start and ends in the Lab. Post grad can only make you eligible to be a lecturer in MLS.
