Ymodulus:
Hi All..

I have been away for a long time.

Thanks to so many who asked as to my whereabouts and how I am fairing and those who stood by me in the last few months.

➖ Sometime early last year I made a very huge loss investing in crypto-currency.

➖ I invested more than my networth to the sum of hundred of millions, I got in at a high price of 6.91 million and months later I sold over 130 bitcoins at 2.2 million

➖ My whole world was crumbling. As you know with cryptocurrency, it's a gamble. The more you are in the more you want to gamble all.

➖ My loss shooked me. I had to sell my properties and belongings to settle up my investors. It was a case of my word against my investors.

➖ This I did. And I couldn't leave with myself for months. I went literally broke.

➖ For months I was off without talking to anyone or meeting anyone.

➖ Now I am okay. But in these period of downtime I wouldn't have been able to be up again without the help of the following nairaland individuals

* IzikJon
* Apex
* MarcJoe
* tutucious
* tooltip
* whizQueen
* Samkay
* Initialise
* Unknown lady ❤️❤️

➖ The above name all listed in no particular order of relevance. These people I met on nairaland stood with me. Supported me and fought for me.

➖ I want to say I came on this platform and met people who stood with me as brothers.

➖ Thanks.

➖ Sadly my stay on this forum as come to an end. And I doubt I will visit here again. It was interesting while it all lasted, the memories discussions with you all .

➖ Thanks.

For those who sent tons and tons of PM. I saw them but couldn't reply. I am really sorry.

For future contact. You can contact me on Twitter: **check my nairaland profile**

➖ Just state your nairaland handle and that's all. Thanks and Good bye.

*Edit: I am doing fine now. So no course for alarm. I am back to the office.

Also kindly follow me on twitter, check my nairaland profile for my Twitter handle.

Thanks
Not easy to be this open and honest. I admire your courage and resilience. Many on this platform have benefited from you. Goodluck

Ymodulus my e-mentor,all your loss will be brought back in triple-fold.that I am sure if you don't give up.

I've learnt alot from you silently in the business section,and I believe this is just a phase in life,it will surely pass.

Note:
I also lost about 900k too through the same bitcoin last year and the experience is not funny at all.

lol... bros, the last part makes me laugh...let me tell you something. You see that thing you call slow, especially from business savvy people like Dangote, is the best way. When Dangote is finished.... do you know the amount of money he will make? IT WILL RAIN... The Money used isnt his.. it is purely OPM

There is something to learn from here, especially in a country like Nigeria.

The most important thing is have a business you can control, 100% control.
genius will definitely understand this part grin

Ymodulus, you are one young man I have always admired, I remember sending you a text message asking you to teach me Bitcoin business, probably in the midst of the mess you found yourself in. Now I understand why I did not get a response. One thing I know for sure is you have a head for business and you are very honest, just give it time you will be bigger than ever. It is well with you.

What about it? I just did a 60% return on an exchange buying cheap and reselling high. This is not a buy and hold game. It is a flipping game. Knowing when to buy low and resell at a higher price. In and out.

Grupo:

You make the decisions, you eliminate potential and minimize potential risk to the barest minimum...

I actually mean being in control of the wheel that drives your business not in the way you were imagining it.

For businesses such as crypto and forex, you are not in control, you are not shielded from some external forces... It is as a good as giving your money to someone to do business for you and if you have followed Nigeria's business terrain for as long as you lived here, you will know that over 80% of people that have got burnt are those who gave their money to someone to do business for them.

You must avoid such scenarios.

One of my favourite quote.

When life challenges pushes you to the ground it's either you fight back and stay strong or you stay down.
Not all situations of life you meet yourself will last forever especially when you know the best is yet to come.

Learning from experience is the best but sometimes costly,
Ymodulus has learnt from this even though it is a very costly one but surely for someone like him- with time the wounds get healed.

Lastly there is a lot gabbage in the Crypto space, too many gooroos, becareful with whatever coin you dive into.
One of the most honest guys I stick with is " D man " from blockchainwhispers.com His telegram channel is https:///blockchainwhispersbaby - You can check him out if you want. Goodluck

All this cryptocurrency is a game of chance as far as liquidity is concerned. I lost some money months ago by investing in a scam coin. The fact remains that those whale behind cryptocurrency largely affect the market ever since then I don't believe in those stuffs again.

I came to know Ymodulus when I was looking for information about drop shipping.
Although I later venture into CPA marketing but Ymodulus remains the best I have seen on Nairaland

Cryto is the worst investment I made in recent time losing over N1.15m I don't know what I would have become after the loss but for my new found Biz

With your long absence and the hungerbad situation, I was about asking Ishilove to point me in the direction of anyone who has an idea about your whereabout. Sorry for the loss, these things happen. Good to know you're back on your feet. Having life is the most important thing, all that has been lost will be restored.

When you have money, you become too excited and jump into any opportunity you think will make you more money.

I have learnt my lessons though.
Re: Hi by Momcherry(f): 7:54pm On May 26, 2019

Sorry about your loss big man. I remember your tomato thread, it was really an eye opener and the lessons learnt are still very much relevant today. Please don't give up on your belief. As per the crypto loss, I am sure you've learnt many lessons. It's all part of the game of success.
