I remember in the 80's and 90's, N5 was a "big" currency as it can buy you a lot. In the 1990s in Afromedia, Lagos, I remember my younger ones were given 10k which they use to buy "adeyoo" (cold drinks made by Ghanians) or "condense" and still had change to spare.
