Na you sabi pass the legal team that are demanding certificate of returns? This is a clear case of a winner declared by tribunal. It is different than when tribunal demand a rerun or annul the election and demand another election. In the latter no winner has been declared, but on this, the Tribunal has declared PDP winner.

Oyetola might triumph at last. Dakuku Peterside and Mama Taraba won at the Election petition tribunal and at the appeal court but both lost out at the Supreme court.The judgement was not unanimous . The tribunal chairman gave a judgement in favour of Oyetola while the two other judges favoured Adeleke. The case might be overturned by the court of appeal or the supreme court. This is Nigeria, so it is not yet total victory for the Adeleke's until after the supreme court judgement.

In Wike's case, Dakuku votes wasn't even close to a win.
The tribunal and appeal courts only ordered for fresh elections.

Not exactly sir. They aare both past tense and past participle of "PAY" but used in a different senses. Paid is used when it has to do with giving out money while payed is used by sailors to refer to releasing a rope or sealing a deck. A subtle distinction, but there may be rare instances where "payed" could be used in a financial sense, but only where it is specifically intended to be a metaphorical reference to the nautical sense.

Before the electoral act was amended in 2010, the electoral act stipulated that the Governorship elections petitions terminated at the Appeal court. But 2010 amendment made the supreme Court the terminal point.

It ends in appeal only wen both parties are satisfied, but the case ends in supreme court except only for legislative matters
