But Tinubu is not a member of PDP nau. An Igbo man should be able to get PDP ticket very easily. Don't you think so?
Jonathan was asked not to contest in 2015 so, a Northern would complete the zoning formula. In 2015, a northern became president through APC.

You mean PDP will still not give an Igbo man their Presidential ticket in 2023? What is that?
i can see that you are already in pain because you know that 2023 is not for you..... Obasanjo will remain the only and last yoruba man to be Nigerian president.. In Nigeria, the VP have never succeeded the president.. Gej was an act of God

But Jonathan contested under PDP and became their flag bearer. Its time PDP gives their ticket to an Igbo man. You guys have invested too much into that party not to look your side again in 2023. Don't you think so?

Come on. Why should I be in pain.. PDP should give their ticket to an Igbo man in 2023. How difficult is that?

LOL...
Let's wait till 2023 please...
They can contest all they want. As long as they don't get the PDP and the APC tickets.
Because those are coming down south.
And should both not come down south, they can rule over a balkanized Nigeria.
The Yoruba will only agree to stay in Nigeria if a Southerner is president after the 8 years of the north.
Anything else and we will leave.
And since we are the glue that holds Nigeria together, everyone else will leave.

We prefer to be beaten to the post by another Southerner than have another Northerner there.
If you are from the North, perish those thoughts. Na your Southern oil block you dey play with so.
I guess this is a way for the SE to try to achieve Biafra. Hoping the North makes the mistake to try to keep it for themselves knowing Yoruba will revolt.
But the Northerners are smarter than you give them credit for. Greed to hold on to the presidency will break the country. Fact! They won't even try it
Glad we still have pragmatically intelligent posters here. Only the cowardly Igbos who deem themselves conquered and second class now shout of Northern Presidency in 2023.

I said same as you in another post. Yoruba know their worth to Nigeria and we are very confident in the superiority of what we bring to the Nigerian table which is more valuable than what others contribute.

I dare the North to try gain a monopoly on the Presidency to then wait for the reaction of the Yorubas against what they will see as fundamentally unfair and unacceptable given their steadfast support of the cause of equitable politics where one good turn deserves another. Let the North go against this. We will see. Yoruba aint noisemakers like the Igbos who chest-beat but cannot ever back it.

Once the North signal they want to be unfair and are happy to truncate the ethos of equitable sharing of power we will see the real political strength of the SW. Personally I don't mind if the North does this. Take power-sharing off the table and see the only region capable of whipping the North to order (SW) demand and get regional independence.

The SW will not be a part of Nigeria where it is clear we cannot produce the President. That is for others who feel and are happy to be second class to accept. Not the Yorubas.

APC primaries is open to any Igbo man and indeed to all Nigerians that want to contest. Okorocha contested against Buhari in 2014.
I think Igbos should be able to get PDP Presidential ticket for 2023. They have been doing houseboy for that party since 1999, which will translate into 24 years by 2023. If a boy is under apprenticeship for 24 years, I think its about time he gets Freedom to display what he can do as well.

Yorubas always would want to brag about their new found political relevance, loooooool. An Igbo person, barely 9 years after fighting a Biafran war, became vice president while, it took Yorubas more than 40 years after independence to match that feat.

Igbos produced Nigeria's first president while, Yorubas produced a president more than 30 years later. Igbos produced Nigeria's first Senate president, while Yorubas have produced none(Saraki is not Yoruba).

In the first republic, Igbos produced the president, Senate president, and speaker of the house of representatives while Yorubas had none. In the second republic, Igbos had the vice president and, speaker of the house of representatives while, an Eastern Nigerian was the Senate president.
With all due respect, Igbos have come a long way and have invested in PDP as a party, without mincing words what Igbo should be clamouring and realigning for now is PDP presidential candidate in 2023.

Bro, Obasanjo, who had never been in the political scene stood no chance against Ekwueme, a former vice president in the PDP primaries in 1999. But, for the sake of equity, the primaries were conducted in as a sham - Obasanjo won and went ahead to defeat Falae in the elections. Prior to that time, Yorubas had not produced any important personality in the national government.

PDP and APC must present Igbo candidates. Heck, even during the formation of PDP in the 4th republic, Obasanjo who later became the candidate of the party was in prison. The presidency was given to Yorubas on a platter of gold, same should go for the Igbos.

Shut up you fool. I am happy to talk and leave Igbos out of issues as I deem you a conquered people happy to trade and seek ego(money) while not minding being third class, dismissed and irrelevant politically.

I will never talk of Igbos in Nigerian politics if, and this is a big if, Igbos don't go around shouting on NL and over the Internet they are happy to work for Northern 2023 Presidency as long as this prevents Yorubas getting it.

Do you realise how your people sound? You are like a man who is saying with pride he is impotent yet is happy if his poor neighbour rapes his wife rather than the rich arrogant neighbour who never says good morning.

You Igbos forget the central point which is that rape of any woman by anyone(Nigeria and the North in this case) is not acceptable . We Yorubas know the North is important but we also understand Nigeria is not their property and we are supremely confident in our worth to Nigeria. Big difference in how we think.

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is eyeing 2023 Presidency. His protege, Vice- President Yemi Osinbajo is also aiming to succeed his principal, President Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari is more disposed to handing over to Osinbajo than Tinubu. If Tinubu thinks Osinbajo will just forgo his ambition for him, he is living in dream land. I hope this won't cause kasala between the two
bro, u are seriously kidding.
Write this down somewhere: the north will never hand over power in 2023. By 2021 u will start seeing some prominent northern figure being projected and marketed for presidency. Quote me anytime anywhere

Nwanne, Igbo votes are the most useless in West Africa. They are not enough to elect a mere class captain not to talk of a president.

Igbos supported Jonathan, he lost. Igbos didn't support Buhari, he won. Igbos supported Atiku, what happened?

See, the SW and SS would support Osinbajo, sensible Igbos would follow suit. Those efulefus in Ipob can go vote anyone they like, not that their votes are useful anyway.

That's when you would realise that the politics of hate that we Igbos are playing is eternal stupidity.
But the same igbo supported Obasanjo he won, supported Yaradua he won, supported Jonathan he won

Northern hawks only know to talk. Most Yorubas are aware of our indispensable worth to Nigeria. We will see how the North will continue ruling unfairly without repercussions from the SW. Funny you lot constantly call others slave. Yet who is talking like a conquered slave if not you and your brethren with these pathetic 'we are ready to suck aboki nutsack' posts?
