the biggest tournament in football is not UCL, its the World Cup and will always be the world cup for a long time. UCL performances dont automatically mean a player is better than another player. UCL performer this year may disappear by next year, so many players have starred in UCL, yet have not won it, it doesn't mean such a player is bad. Godin, Oblak, Pjanic, Dybala, Mandzukic, Pirlo, Ibrahimovic, Neymar(excluding that one season), Salah and co, and tons of others. Winning UCL doesn't guarantee that a player is top notch or not. Hazard is a top top player, a guaranteed starter in any team, a proven match winner, a player that other players can look up to, and extremely talented, having paltry number of UCL goals doesn't mean he is bad.

Pique, I look at you and I laugh, Pique has been handling deadlier and faster forwards than Rashford, and in Europe only one defender has been better than Pique, Van Dijk. Pique is our most in form defender. I even thought you would say Lenglet, you chose Pique, showing you dont watching Barca matches. The only joy you people may get is if Semedo starts ahead of Roberto(which I strongly doubt) and then Martial or Rashford can attack from that wing. Of course you already know that cross and nod will definitely not work and we have Vidal too.

I seriously dont see how Man utd will win, Dalot is better offensively than Young but Young has more defensive awareness than Dalot and even Coutinho will get a lot of joy against any of the two.

Hey guys, I’d like your honest opinion on an issue.

Lionel Messi is one of the world’s most talented players. It’s obvious that he played a huge part in Barca’s 3 UCL victories in the last decade.

Here’s my question: would Barcelona have won those trophies without his contribution? And if Messi were playing for another team, say Bayern (him replacing Robben or something like that), would they instead be the winner of more UCL trophies than the 1 they have?

Barca will not have won the UCL without Messi in 2011 and 2015. 2009 is neither here nor there although he was the best player. Bayern would have won 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 if they had Messi.

1. Coutinho never asked to be traded to Barcelona. He was enjoying his football until Barcelona approached Liverpool and broke the bank for him.
1b. Some other players have been begging to go to RM. If you are worth the hype..they will come for you aggressively like we did for Phillipe. Gareth Bale was signed the same way. CR7 was signed the same way.
