Tottenham made a long-awaited return to their new and improved home on Sunday, opening the doors to their £1billion stadium. See the amazing pictures below.

Some 679 days after the final game at White Hart Lane, and six months after the initial September 15 opening date, the first of two official test events were held at the 62,000-seat arena as Spurs' U18 side beat Southampton 3-1.

Below you see White Hart Lane before it was demolished to make room for the new stadium.
