The church that formulated all you listed is the church the apostles of Jesus Christ set up under the leading of the Holy Spirit. Last I checked, they didn't set up no Catholic Church. Was there a church before the advent of Paul ?
And what happened after Paul came into.the scene?
The original followers of Jesus and his teachings dispersed after Paul, a Roman citizen and soldier, thrust himself into the movement and distorted and shaped it into his own worldview. Paul even admitted to.lying and making up stuff as being necessary to propagate his teachings.

My point here is that whatever was deemed original teachings or original movement of christianity died when Paul came in.
When the imperial power of Rome entered the burgeoning and now lucrative faith market, everything changed forever.

If there ever was an original Christian movement, no one knows and no records exists about what it might have been about.

Now, considering that Jesus is the all wise , all knowing son of God, this would have been a monumental endorsement not only of the wisdom of the serpent, but actually encouraging his followers to act like the serpent.

However, if you disagree with Jesus on this issue, that would be between you and Jesus.

and also, what about the part that say Christian should ACTS like a dove ? . Matthew 17:20, "...If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed," does not mean faith
is a mustard seed. wise as serpent does not mean you are a serpent.

2 and 3 only looks like snake to you because of the position from which your picture is taken, The building itself is a fine architecture masterpiece and isnt particularly snakey.

For the aviodance of doubt the snake is hardly used in western catholic symbolism and mainly to depict the devil BUT it is popular in eastern christianity esp among the orthodox churches who use it as a symbol of the resurrection.
