What Fashiola said is absolutely correct. Where I live with my family at Independence layout Enugu state, we hardly remember the last time they take light. We stay for days without having our light taken for once. But because of the old order under PDP, people who are not in areas where it is happening find it difficult to believe.

Are those areas not under states? Why do we like to shop for bad news in our country while dismissing good news? In all sincerity would you say that electricity supply has not improved?

The thing is, Nigeria can only have light 24/7 IF we increase generaiton to at least 20000MW.

But when bills are below production cost...

D situation of light in Nigeria has been d same all these years. D problem is that if u live in an area where there's light, u will assume everybody has light. If u live in an area were there's no light, u will assume there's no light everywhere. Like d minister said power distribution isn't uniform. Some have close to 24hrs a day, some have 10& some have 5. Some even have less. D old order of PDP u referring to still happening in d APC era

Not the entire state, maybe some parts of a state though. Some places in Kaduna And Abuja do have almost 24hrs power supply

Nigeria should opt for advanced power generation solution that are used in abroad. Depending on hydro alone cannot solve our problem. Enough of generator sets everywhere.

So that "Area" is not in a "State"?

I watched that interview and I have great respect for the Minister. What he said is true. You can watch the interview and objectively pick out what is wrong with his presentation.

I don't know why we Nigerians always focus on wrong and bad

Interesting

You do not need to spin it.

He said some States, not area of a State.

You have great respect for the minister.
That is the problem. You can't see when he is lying through his teeth.

Thankfully, most of us still have brains, and we don't have great respect for the minister.

According to him, State is whole, not section or part.

You either address it as section or area or part of the State.

This is true and most Nigerians only seat by the corner of their room with their phones and type rubbish without confirming things said by Govt but will easily antagonize govt.

As for my area we got the light since Monday and they have not off it since then just this morning they took it off and in 10mins they brought it back.

Foolish southerners...there's almost constant power supply and good roads in the north now.

Coneheads have sold everything to the north for amala peanuts.

The south is now a conquered territory, all thanks and praise to the accursed sophisticated coneheads.

Why are u sounding like this na.....u know very well area is different. Him saying states makes it look like there are actually states where there is light everywhere for almost 24hrs.

Lemme give u an example. In Rivers State, there are 23 LGAs, if someone says Rivers State has 24hrs light, what do they mean?? It means the whole of Rivers State enjoy 24hrs light. Let's not try to defend the statement. He could have said some areas enjoy 24hrs light, but he used state.

Under every government there has always been some areas that enjoy light. So what point was he trying make then?? If under every government some areas enjoy light and in this government some areas enjoy light too, why was he trying to praise himself, when its a normal thing...but that's not what he did, he wanted to make it seem as though under him, STATES as a whole, not areas as usual enjoy light, to make it look like APC is doing better.

I've seen all the comments of those that agree. All I see is, "I agree, in my AREA, we now have light", is ur area not in a state?? Does ur state as a whole have light like he said??....someone said Oshogbo has light, Ikeja has light...is oshogbo a state?? Is Ikeja a state?? If out of 100 areas in a state 10 have constant light, does the state have constant light??

Ok, under GEJ, I can name 5 areas that had constant light in PH...if its area we want to be calling.

Don't you think you are the one who can't see the truth since you don't have great respect for the minister?
