The Catholic church is making giant strides in education in Anambra State. Do other states in the south-east have this same model of handing over ownership of secondary schools in their states to the church?

This looks like a solid job! Is it a joint state/federal gov't project...anyone know?

They should remember to barrier off the edges at the top so people don't fall into the ravine...esp' during or after a storm when water might be rushing through it.

That is Obiano in action. 100% Willie is working trademark project. Obiano is unarguably the best governor in the history of Anambra state.

THE PROBLEM WITH US IS THAT WE CANNOT SEE A GIFT THAT IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF US.

JUST IMAGINE, WE CONVERT THIS EROSION SITES TO UNDERGROUND WATER HOLDING FACILITIES AND ROUTE ALL THE GUTTERS TO PLACES LIKE THIS AS WELL AS CANAL.

THEY CAN LATER BE RELEASED TO THE RIVERS OR CANAL.

AS WELL AS USED TO WATER CROPS AND FARMS.

Ogidi is part of Onitsha metro and deserves something better. Can't Obiano duplicate Ikeduru general hospital here in Ogidi?
No complain bro, we already have a standard mission hospital at Iyi-Enu village, let's show appreciation to this no matter how small.

DAT SOIL DOES NOT LOOK IN ANYWAY, LIKE ANAMBRA LET ALONE AWKA.

WHOEVER TOLD U DAT IS A LIAR.

EVEN IF THAT BUILDING WAS IN AWKA, I WILL BE THE LAST PERSON TO ENTER OR GO ANYWHERE NEAR IT.

IMAGINE THE RUSH THAT TOOK PLACE DURING CONSTRUCTION, THAT NO ONE NOTICED A BUILDING WITH SUCH HEIGHT RISING. grin
The soil texture looks like a typical Agu Awka, I really don't know what you lots mean by soil looking Anambra.
Most part of Riverine Anambra has different texture than that of dry land like Onitsha metro.
Most part of Agu Awka is of clay soil texture.

This is a problem i have with the gov'ts (both state and local) in Anambra when it comes to high-density estates like Awada. I see nice looking blocks of flats....all arranged nicely in a grid-style, and then i look around at the environment and see there is ABSOLUTLEY ZERO EFFORT at aesthetics! All these estates need to look nice are well constructed inner roads with trees planted on either side, side-walks, and the landscaping with lawns and flowers of all open spaces...unlike the present situation where you see open, muddy earth everywhere.

Considering all the money wasted on piffle by these same state and local gov'ts....coupled with all manner of levies they collect from landlords and tenants, you have to wonder why they can't spare just a little to improve the ambience of these estates!
