The Super Eagles of Nigeria were in Asaba for the last match of the Afcon qualification games,where they thrashed the Seychelles team 3 goals to One.

They also played the Pharoahs of Egypt at the Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba.With an early goal from Onuachi, the Super Eagles were able to pull a slim win in the tight contested game.

They left the country on Wednesday (27/03/2019).But before then, a mild drama ensued at the Airport

In the video posted by naija_footballers on Instaram,Alex Iwobi,his Dad, Wilfred Ndidi, Troost Ekong and Seyi can be seen at the waiting lounge of the Asaba International Airport, waiting to board their flights back to their base.

Then all of a sudden a man appears and seem to be whispering to Alex Iwobi.

Iwobi then called his dad and informed him that there is a man who is requesting for “Children School Fee”.

The man was Ignored by Iwobi’s father who maybe already knows the begging habits of some Nigerians.

Iwobi could be heard telling the man that they also have person problems too.

Troost Ekong and Wilfred Ndidi were mute throughout the video.

though there are lots of lazy fake beggars, some are in genuinely tight hopeless situation and have no other option... cases where people beg for fees, if you don't feel safe giving them directly, simply pay it for them e.g universities have generated RRR through which a student pays and is giving school fees payment receipt. for secondary and primary the school have bank account.. after helping out, you just mail the receipt or teller to them to print and go do other formal reg. never mock a persons situation... may God help us

the man might not need money for school fees, he might be dead hungry. think of it, someone risking the security, the shame of begging from someone young enough to be his son. I'm not encouraging begging but even if it was 20k, Iwobi should have given him . God has blessed him beyond that.

There are horrible people everywhere all over the country and apparently Iwobi refusing to give money is the worst form of sin in this country replete with reprobates.
