Yes Bro thanks brotherly. Yes mine are paywares dmo s92 heavy. And xtrident bell 412. Have a few more paywares. But a debate which is still currently on flight forums is which is best xplane or p3d. Ain't taking sides but xplane is awesome specially the 11 version

Jakumo:
Fantastic
detail in the flight deck of those helicopters, HeloMan. Would those be payware from Nemeth Designs ? Those cockpit displays look fully functional and possibly equivalent in systems and procedures, to type-rating simulator models used to train real world pilots.

Being able to select Bristow Helicopters livery is icing on the cake. Very nice pictures.

If your home setup includes a cyclic lever, some pedals, and a collective, in front of a large screen TV, you could charge Bristow Helicopter pilots $s per simulator hour, when they need to revise in preparation for their regular check-ride examinations ha ha. On a serious note, anyone attending flight training would benefit enormously from every hour they spend using a professional level flight simulator, with highly detailed addon payware aircraft of the caliber produced by PMDG for Boeings, and Aerosoft for Airbus, as two prominent examples.

X-Plane users like yourself have always been fewer in number compared to those using FSX and now Prepare3D, but all these years of browsing aviation forums, I have often read opinions expressed by many a flight simulator purist that also has real-world flight hours logged, maintaining that the flight physics and control input response offered by X-Plane, is superior in true-to-life realism, in comparison to FSX. That is remarkable for Xplane, which is apparently produced by just one individual with a reputation as a creative genius working out of his house.

Of course Prepare3D is in a league of its own, I hear tell, so more and more recently, I have been mulling over embarking on a foray into the world of Prepare3D. Anyways, enough rambling.

Blues skies to you brother man. Raise collective as the governor takes over, attain hover, tip the nose down, and climb out as you roll westbound.

Sho y'right.

It's nice to meet aviation freaks here too. I started playing Infinite flight a year ago and i always include the subscription in my monthly budget. I'm still stuck with it though, i hope to advance to X-Plane 11 soon.

I believe I am one of the few guys on Nairaland who has actually flown a plane in a real flight simulator( Motion simulator actually)

It is my love or will I say curiosity for Airplanes that made me to search for a real plane sim in Lagos here,....location is classified grin

Anyway, there are some flight sims that will teach you the basic skills you need to fly an airplane like the CESSNA 172 SP, a light aircraft with a single propeller engine in front.

My first download was the infinite flight, followed by Aero fly 2, then I downloaded XPLANE 9 and 10 before I got the ultimate of them all,.....Microsoft FSX. Boy! you don't need to go to an aviation school anymore wink

I have landed an Airbus A340-600, big bird I must say cool

So If we have Enthusiast like me in the house please let us meet smiley

I must say that a lot of these flight sims are not free, however, they are affordable;.....$4.99, $3.99,...etc from the app store or Google play store.
How do I get a good flight simulator? I'm in Abuja so meeting you is kind of difficult.

I like this, it seems I am not the only addict of flight simulation game, how about you also checkout another realistic game like Extreme Landings Pro, I've shared the pro version which is very expensive.

Hey guys, Glad to know other flight simulator enthusiasts in Nigeria, I play X-plane 11 flight simulator. More advanced than FSX and P3D in the market. And it costs around $55.
I recently started a YouTube channel just for in flight videos in X-plane 11. Link below.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwLu_2Fe1qL7gV0ibynwInw

Expect very good videos from that channel. Perfect for aviation experts like you.
Like and Subscribe if you enjoy the videos.

Once again great to meet other Nigerian flight simmers.

Do you always require a steady internet speed of not less than 5mbps to run this simulator?
Or you can run it offline?

Most newbies in the flightsim world always want to jump strait to big jets like the B737 or A320?

Well, this isnt my thing, I take it a step at a time by starting with the piston props like C150, C172, PA 140, DA40 (the one in the picture below used by ICA Ilorin)
