If you read that article, considered the tone of their submission and this is all you can say, then I can boldly conclude that you're an Islamic bigot.

We all know that Nigerian Muslims can never allow a situation where all the arms of government (including both arms of the National Assembly) will be headed by Christians. Religion is a very sensitive issue in Nigeria and I hate it when people like you claim it doesn't matter because the injustice suits you.

It's better religion finally kills Nigeria cos as the country presently is, it is a dead nation. Let each region go and govern themselves as they deem fit.

Saraki (SP) - Muslim
Ekweremmadu (DSP) - Christian

Dogara (Speaker) - Christian
Lasun (Deputy Speaker) - Muslim

This is how it has been with PDP since 1999. There has never been a time that both SP and Speaker were both Christians or both Muslims, neither was there a time their deputies were of the same religion with them.

Who were the President and CJN in 2007?

In 2011 when a Christian became the president, he (or rather the party) chose Mulikat Akande to be Speaker but the opposition led by Tinubu sold the slot to the NW. Even at that, both Mulikat and Tambuwal are Muslims.

There is nothing wrong with lobbying like APC and presidency are currently doing. At the end of the day, it is only the NASS members that will have the final say on the issue in their chambers.

My only concern is that even the christian Vice President we have has received more denigration than support from these pastors for occurrences that are well beyond his control. Will having christian Speaker change their tilted view about this government? I don't think so.
