Yorubas on Nairaland always tell us that religion doesn't matter in the South West. It's something you guys brag about, how half of a family can be Muslims and half Christians. It can work in the South West but not Nigeria as a whole.
I never commented on the Ekiti issue cos I don't understand the religious balance there. In all the South East states, there are no top Muslim government officials cos of their very low population. Likewise, in the Core North, there aren't any Christians in top political offices except for states with large Christian population like Kaduna and a little bit of Adamawa and Bauchi.

They should respectably shut it, rather than assert spiritual authority which they sadly lack, they are demanding for political relevance, which no one will give them

Moreover, what can the VP really do when the President is fully on ground? We've read reports of VP being denied access into security meetings.
Even the Senate President and Speaker carry more weight than the VP except when the VP is acting president.
