Local researchers estimate more than 300 have sailed off the bridge; tabloid reports say it’s 600. At least 50 dogs are said to have died. Some say there are rational explanations involving the terrain and the scents of mammals in the gorge that may drive the dogs into a frenzy. Other explanations take on a more paranormal tone. Dog is an unclean animal. The Bible tells us how the Gadarene swine were driven to their doom when evil spirits were cast out of the madman. So the deaths of this dogs is proof that God is cleansing the part of Scotland where this events are taking place. I pray for the death of every dog in Nigeria that we may also be delivered. I recall seeing a show sometime ago on this Overtoun Bridge Mystery, but can't remember what it was. Anyway, the theory was an optical illusion leading the dogs to leap over the edge. Something with the local landscape and a certain point on the bridge that looked like they could jump over the ledge and land safely. 1 Like |
