Following his outstanding victory , Governor Wike led prominent Rivers people and other Nigerians to offer Thanksgiving to God at the Government House Port Harcourt Chapel of Everlasting Grace.

They are not many governors that will withstand what Wike withstood and conquered. Even Anaechi couldn't survive it when Wike came with federal might.
While Wike combined the Federal might with the people's support to defeat Amaechi's supported candidate, Amaechi combined the Federal might with violence and killings but failed to defeat the people's will and Wike.
