Hello, UMI Family. Been following this thread silently since January or so. I've been able to get Pie Update (via a custom rom). I rooted my UMIDIGI One Pro and installed a custom rom (Pixel Experience). This gave me Android 9 OS.
Unfortunately, I cant send any screenshots. Inexplicably, less than 24 hours after sweetly enjoying my 'new' phone, my phone screen got terribly broken and thus unusable. I've quickly ordered a new screen but it will take about 20 days for it to arrive. I guess I'll have to wait a bit more to fully enjoy my Pie

on the restarting issue I can't say. But search for wireless update, that will solve it...
On the X symbol simply change your access point it will disappear

Changd network mode to 2g or 3g and see . I dont think free will work on 4g.

Regarding this restarting, i would advice you resetting your device..

Back up all important files/folders......

When process is complete, don't add all previous apps, simply selectively add them and observe..........
