Hi.

I play basketball and point guard specifically. I would love to play for Nigeria at the 2020 Olympic Games. I need to know how I can tryout.
I have so much passion for the game and it would really help to get noticed by Coach K and get a scholarship to Duke University .

THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I'd advise you do a short YouTube video of 3 minutes about yourself and your share your aspirations. If possible, include clips of you 'point guarding' then upload to YouTube. Take out the best parts and convert to a 59 seconds clip for the gram. Tag every social media influencer that comes to your head, asking them to help you get the word out.

The right persons will see the video and reach out, I'm sure.

What of Tunde Ednut

Is he not an entrepreneur

What does he sale? He only repost and comment
Re: Meet The Top Nigerian Instagram Entrepreneurs by Sanchez01: 3:03pm On Apr 04, 2019
omoiyalayi:

But he's also making money posting video for people

True. But Tunde has no known business on Instagram other than to use his page to advertise other people's products and services. It's why they refer to people who do such as social media influencers.

Entrepreneurs, on the other hand, have their own businesses and products and use both their pages and even that of the likes of Tunde to market their crafts.

I don't get...their office is in Instagram or what. What's the difference between Instagram influencers and Instagram entrepreneurs?
What's the rating from?

There is a loose difference between them that is often misunderstood because often the two overlap.

An influencer is simply a person who has a large following and therefore influences behavior.

A social media entrepreneur is one who uses social media as their primary business platform.

If you are selling something = entrepreneur

If you yourself are the brand or people follow you just because of who you are = influencer

Examples of social media influencers:

Your average artist such as Davido, political commentators, motivational speakers etc.

Examples of social media entrepreneurs: the ones listed in the OP

Example of hybrids:

Lasisi elenu

This list is incomplete without @hustlersquare... the Follow for Follow Queen. If you want to grow your Instagram following, do yourself so good by following her Insta handle right away.

If you reside in Lagos or anywhere, go to stadium ask for the Basketball Coach. Tell him all these you have said. He will ask you to train with his boys and evaluate your skill.

Oh, you stay abroad ask your coach to connect with NBF, giving them your detail.

Hope this help.

You talked down another person with so much authority and confidence. You don't even sound like you can be allowed close to her neighbourhood, let alone knowing so much about her. This to me, remains a baseless rumour only you and your type can believe. Get a job.

what you explained about him is what is called business... He is into services and not physical goods
Entrepreneurship is about creating value in exchange for money..... It could be goods or services

Did I see Laura Ikeji on the list? LMAO grin
No. He is a social media influencer and not an entrepreneur.

How do you define an Entrepreneur? You're funny.

Anyone that is self-employed, that undertakes any venture, that renders any service in exchange for payment, IS an entrepreneur!

Ednut is an entrepreneur, as is anyone who makes a living by selling anything! It could be your platform or space, your product, service or anything.
It won't hurt to pretend to be smart. Entrepreneurs are puzzle/problem solvers and game changers.

They are driven by an inside force whose sole motive is to MAKE A DIFFERENCE. An entrepreneur's business makes lives of people around better in some way or another. If you have developed a solution to a problem and have found a way to capitalize on it, you can call yourself an entrepreneur. Not just sit behind an account and post videos and 18+ videos, advertise and all. There is more to being an entrepreneur than just making money.

Anyways, this is a free session courtesy of Quora. Be sure not to rant until you've gone through the link.

You're citing a Quora answer for what is essentially a simple English word with a simple English definition. It's demeaning to be having this argument with you, I'm sorry.

Good for them, if you know you are talented, why not use instagram to your advantage. For example, you know you can design a wooden basket and people always want to buy your items, then instagram is the place for you. Use your data wisely
