True. Davido is better than Fela, when it comes to singing junk and trash.
Wonder how someone wil compare Fela with Davido.

For what Fela was able to do for African music at the global stage, no artiste should be compared to him.

Aside that, I think the guy is right.

Davido that can not do ordinary freestyle. Even my guy way never blow (CY Fresh), if them put him with Davido live for national TV or Radio. Davido no go see draw.

Baba you sef. Fela blew before all these technologies. Content-wise, they are miles apart. Even Davido would be like haba with this comparision.

She is waisting her time responding. First, Fela created not just for him self, but for the entire continent and black race a genre of music called Afro beat. Secondly, his songs were not to glorify booties, drugs or immorality as is the case today. Thirdly, Fela through his songs led a campaign against bad governance, injustice et al.

At times is better to educate, especially on ignorant pronouncements like this. The only contemporary musician that can be distantly liked to Fela is a Tu face.

I think the fella is entitled to his preference. You don't expect someone who didn't listen to Fela's music to rate him higher than Davido or Wizkid. Besides, Fela's style or genre wouldn't go down well with this younger generation.
