I am not against the idea of paying 100,000 as fee in a state university because they are already poorly funded.
What I am against is the idea of that same Sokoto state using state fund to buy Ramadan ram and building mosques ( using state fund for a section of the populace ), then turning around to ask Christians which are likely to form a higher percentage of those patronizing the university, to pay more fees. Is it a counter productive move when you consider use of state funds for some people's private believe.

100k is even small, come to my school Osun state University, where we pay 263k as tuition fee..... So im not surprised seeing 100k, I just pray this Government have mercy on us

Lies.....Uniben "school fee" is not up to 100,000.....staylites from 300l and above pay 13,500-15,500 while 200l and fresher's pay 50+ as school fee.....

All Governors do this......Buhari is the only different politician we have in Nigeria and we love him for this.

Qualitative university education is very expensive. That's why Covenant and other private universities charge high fees around a million. That is why highly subsidized education produces poor quality graduates.

The amount to run universities at very low prices is a huge burden on the state budget and only a tiny fraction of the citizenry are direct beneficiaries.

Increment in fees isn't cruelty but prudent. What is cruel is to reduce the already paltry fees and produce poorer quality graduates. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

Tanbuwa pls find something doing on time on the issue of sokoto university tuition fees increases, 80% of Nigerians are praising PDP government as the best government so far, pls don't let this tanish the image of PDP, don't let enemy use this as an opportunity to gain ground.
