We have Nigerian military school (NMS), it's a military secondary school in Zaria, student there are allowed to wear camp like military personnel and are referred to as boys. After your passing out parade you'll become an ex-boy.



Once you're through with the sec school you'll become a private in the Nigerian army(voluntary), so they're still boys and can't fight book haram because they don't have the training and are still kids. No be everybody wey dey wear camo be soldier and officers, some are cadets while some are boys. You understand?
